Heya... im a new guy do this game... and im just wondering what is the best character... Obviously characters have certain strength and weaknesses which makes them strong in their own way but is ther a built purely good for pvping and huntingi... if so could someone help me out...

every charactor has there weaknesses... but it just depends on your gear and the skills that you get.

but if you want massive damage, go for pure int spear, or sword/shield

if you want to die geting to high lvl for pvp, go pure str blade.

if you want to lvl alittle fast and do alot of damage close to pure int, go pure str bow.

if you like glaive, go pure str glaive

i would suggest pure int nuker, for hunting and PvP. it destroys monsters very quick, and they do alot of damage in PvP which makes it very good for both.

On the downside, pure int nukers have very little HP, and unless they have godly gear, they are easily dispatched by a glaiver or archer.

well if you want to know some great build read the sticky threads im sure that would help you out and give you an idea of a build you would want

If you want an all around good build that can hit decently high and survive forever..be a pure STR blader(I'm a pure STR fire blader) Sadly thoguh, they lv the slowest..but its worth it once you get lv32+ Just my opinion though.

If you want to hit very high, Go pure STR Glavie(They have low defence thoguh but still make a formable foe). Glavie is a tradeoff, you can hit very high, but people can hit very high on you to because you don't have a sheild.

If you want to hit MASSIVLY high, become a nuker, but they have very low hp and are east to kill if a pure str gets close to them.

If you want to hit decently high with magic and weapons, become a hybrid archer..

Sumary:

Pure STR Blader- Can block attacks with sheild, fast attacks, chain combos and knockdown skill. But, it cost alot money in higher lvs for a good sheild AND blade. Also known to be one of the best classes in hotan area, and are great for pvp. Lv the slowest.

Pure STR Glavie- Hit very high, but can't block and have low defence, cheaper because you only need to buy the glavie, have some nice 3hit combos and power-moves, with a little AoE(Area of effect) skills.Also lv the fastest.Decent for pvp.

Nuker- Hit MASSIVE damage, and can own anything if thety don't get to close, but they have lower HP than pure STR, much lower, but if they can keep the enemey away..they'll dominate, if the enemy gets to close..they die Still decent though.

Hybrid archer- Nice build, hits high in both catagorys, I don't know much about archers..I don't even know if hybrid is good for archers, they're really good though, but the cost of arrows can be a setback a little.

...... if you dont anything about archers then dont post anything about them... hyrbid archer = the most pathetic biuld there is...

archers are meant for pure STR

see DarkJackel, and you will see how much damage archers can hit.

63k is his highest so far.

and imo, archers own glaivers.. archers do about the same damage, and they have the range so they are in the advantage.

glaivers dont lvl fastest. nukers do, archers are second, glaivers thief, blades fourth.

and no nukers dont die if enemy gets to close... if ur sword nuker, kd and stab = owns them... they could kd and run away then launch another nuke and do same thing over again.

Yeah bows have no cancel, glaivers have stun and kb, bladers have kd.

true. What the archer has in exchange for KB, Stun, KD, etc. is the high chance of a critical on anti-devil bow and the deadliness of their criticals on devil arrow.

so in short theres no best for build leveling and PvPing ?
and for PvP someone always wins other ? theres no sure win PvP build...
and for Leveling nukers are said to be the fastest at killing mobs (and they also die fast ! has anyone said this before ?!)
after that ? Gear > Build IMO

there isn't any1 in the game that can beat EVERYONE in the game. unless they buy items and buy hundreds of silk to get astral and make +13 items...

DarkJackel is the only str archer i know that is acually good. so if hes participarting any str glaiver his lvl wanna fight him?

as i said before the best "overall" build is a glaiver... decent PvM and PvP....

here is how the scale goes:
(pure builds only... hybrids dont fit directly into a category)

PvM
--------
INT nuker - spear
INT nuker - s/s
STR archer
STR glaiver
STR blader
---------
PvP

ofcourse all of this changes depending on the gear you have...

just pick a build you find most fun to play, you can always get some pimped out gear to change its standing on the scale...

i have seen nukers owning tankers and the other way. look at masterpuxxy he was a pure int(nuker) and he owned tankers from left to right. but tankers are as good, and you dont have to restrict yourself to one weapon. if your going with sword/blade you will want to get the spear mastery for the hp bonus, so you can be 2 weapons and have 2 "element" masteries. and that is still only 280Cap points.

the one with the best gear wins the fight.

if you get good items you will have a GREAT advantage.

You're treating DarkJackal like a god... Yes hes a very good archer but other people can bet him also

Got time to level and dont want to be a great help in group fighting, but be pretty good at 1v1 fights? Go blader.

Want to be a great help in group fighting and level fast? Go archer or nuker.

Glaviers are somewhere in between. They deal high damage and are a good at both group fightning and 1v1.

( just my opinions )
