Weapon Masterys for a Pure INT?
I am going pure INT and have already decided that I will go all Fire and all Lightning, the remaining SP will go to either Force or Spear or Sword. My question is does weapon masterys increase M.Atk? Because if it doesnt, I really dont see the point in learning a type of weapon since most stuff will be killed by 2 nukes.

Like he said, however you have two choices.
First off, it would be wise to use armor since the vast majority of all the monsters up until the late 20s are physical even with the 20% bonus from garments you will need to pot. With that being said, you won't need to pot as much from the hp side.
Heuksal is a great choice, it has nice HP buffs.
That is from biggies guide, and much like most of it he doesn't explain his logic. Which leaves alot of room for guess work.
Personally I have tested spear vs sword. Spear will up your magical attack value but also at the expensive of life. I would suggest you use it while nuking etc. However, before you get your nukes you will be vulnerable and a sword + shield works very well - possibly even better then spear in PvP (if you are capably of killing them in 2 shots with or without a shield then might aswell wear the shield). Even after you get your nukes in certain situations.
Bare in mind though, my int char didn't go far before I decided to scrap him for a glaive. I'm not an expert or even very experienced with the build. I would suggest getting an opinion from someone who knows more about the subject, I guess I just felt like typing =D

They only go up to level 20 in spear and sword, and do not have a lot of skills to max there. For lighting they will max out just about every skill, so there is no guess work there. For fire they will max out every skill also, except the firewall skill which is useless.

Thanks for the replies! I still cant decide whether I should go Force to heal/rez my clannies or if I should go Sword (Bicheon) just to learn the block-rate passives and knock-down skill.
Does the level 19 knock-down skill (Blood Blade Force) work against higher levels? Like if I use a level 19 Blood Blade skill on a level 50 player, will it work?
If this works, I might just have to go 20 masterys on Sword, and put the rest in Force.

I suggest getting Spear to 30 for the Inc. in HP (passive skill), since youre going pure int this skill will help you inc. your low hp (survive alittle longer

lvl 19 knockdown will affect anything.
force is awesome.. its totally underestimated at this stage of the game.. but when the dungeons open and you need parties to get through.. force will be awesome cuz of res.

not to mention harmony chircle. its not making you any stronger, but its very useful to me. makes killing giants so easy, cos it keeps the other mobs away.
i dont know what dungeons will be like, but i can well imagine a small party staying in a harmony circle, luring the strong mobs to them 1 by 1, when they couldnt stand there for 5 mins all the mobs attacking them at once
