Help with my healer-to-be build

Hi all!

I recently started playing SRO, about 3 days ago i think, after reading several guides/tutorials.
I always have played a melee fighter-type character in other games like Baldur's Gate, NWN, Morrowind etc, so I wanted to try a bow person.
Hence, i picked a bow
Next i thought being able to heal myself and others would be nice, so i put some SP into Force.

After playing few hours i started reading up on jobs/guilds etc, and i think a healer-like person would be best for me, while still being able to do some damage.

At the moment i'm at lvl 12, I've already got the Bow skills (pacheon orso?) and Force skills, and already invested in Anti-devil, Double arrow, Self heal and cure poison a bit (don't knw the exact names yet :P). Furthermore i'm a full STR character.

My questions for now:
- Which mastery should i pick next to my force and bow? Or don't pick more? Or pick multiple?
- Do i need to invest some in INT?
- Which skills are vital/best for a healer (who wants to do some damage as well :P) in bow/force/my 3rd mastery?

I've already Alfred's guide, but couldn't really find any more guides on being a healer. So any more comments/advice would be nice :)

I don't think i'll be joining a guild before i'm lvl 30-40 orso, first need to figure out the basics and stuff (and most (decent) guilds don't accept members before lvl 30-40 :P)

Both a healer and archer does best as pure str. Dont take the self heal series any further, get the heal series instead as you can use this to heal your self and others. Dont get tempted into making a str hybrid for bow as they suck and for being a healer you will want to stay alive as long as possible to be able to heal your friends/

Int bow / Str hybrid bow = bad.
Don't do it.

True, staying alive is a nice thing to do :) thanks for the advice :) i've been spending points (or rather, will be) in heal series now.

So, you are saying a bow needs to be full STR? or don't take bow at all?

if you really like bow then go bow. But stay pure STR.
if you want to live longer pick blade or glavie which gives you either more defense and block from shield... or more life from glavie.

each build has there benefits.. bow obviously has the worst benefits... but there are many Awesome bowman/girl.... just not many considering you need uber bows to be good.

thnx for the tip :)
but i prefer to play a 'new' style (new to me, not to the game :P), so I'll stick with my bow.

But i still need to know what skills i can pick best, especially if i should start another mastery skills atm?

healers/ressers rock. they are essential for a victorious outcome in guild wars.

I had a level 60+ healer/resser, i healed 3.3k HP and ressed levle 70. the best part was when i was levle 4x-5x i always got a spot in isy hunting party to leech exp 8) 8) 8)
