For me and my build is.
priority:
Bicheon.
Fire.
Lighting.
Ice.

If you want to get only 2 forces then go fire and lighting.
The grass walk is much more usfull than ice buffs.
Fire for mage buffs . +% phy dmg (Passive and buffs). and imbue.
Now i am level 60
With:
52 bicheon.
52fire.
52 lighting.
50 ice.
My planes was.
At level 70:
70 bicheon.
65 Fire.
52 lighting.
60 ice.

You can drop the ice Force tree if you don't want to farm alot of sp.
For me i just wanted to show glaviers that they are not the strongest and ice buffs really usfull for Str Vs Str pvp.

Do you want to be successfull in PVP or just PVE?
If PVE you can go for pure str ice blader using armor. That'll tank any mob.

I've been wondering about this myself. I have not leveled up the cold force tree yet, and have been sticking with fire and force. I leveled light a little just to get grasswalk. I'm a pure str blader as well. I may consider leveling ice some. If I do, how high should I go to freeze the mob (or player) I'm fighting?

If the player is immune to ice, it'll be useless.

Fire shield + ice reduce on items.
