Could not find under search...spear vs glaive for pure str

i am a pure str char. i farm sp..i never attack anything without my imbue on. so technicaly does that use the mag or the phy attack of the weapon?

because if you use imbue and it uses the mag attack a spear would be the better choice even though i am pure str since it has higer mag dmg...

however, if it uses the phy and just adds dmg from the imbue..thats a differant story...

which is it?

Your phy balance will get way more than your mage balance with levels and you will do more dmg with glavie..
When you attack you use both phy attack and mage attack while using imbue..
But the phy attack dose more dmg as you are pure str..

ok..makes a little sense..but since i only fluctuate between lvl's 16-18 and my phy balance is 103 and mag balance is 70, will the extra mag dmg from the spear not make the differance while i use imbue?

or will the 30% extra str balance still tip the favor in that of the glaive...even though it does have less mag dmg than the spear...
