archer question

regarding all of the talk of hybrids, i am considering making a str/int hybrid archer. now i know that nearly everyone will say that this is stupid. however, i do see some advantages. one of which is that in either hybrid selection, there is str present for crits. secondly, the added int will aid in achieving a consistently higher dmg output per hit from the imbue. i also see a good strategy, in that a int-heavy archer would be able to deal out considerable dmg from afar, atk skill+imbue(addition of break heaven series)
then nuke, in my mind the dmg from those alone would be good, and if the person is still alive finish off with an arrow combo.

I wouldn't. If you want archer, go pure str. Hp and crits are the only two things archers have.
If you want to go hybrid Int, go spear.

Less crit dmg. No disable for bow. Low mag dmg on bows.
No.

OK i'll put it in plain english. ARCHERS AREN'T MEANT FOR 1VS1
STR Archers are one of the most fun builds to play, but again it's based on self-preference.
Archers don't mature until 5x's, where you get your 3rd book anti and 4-arrow combo, and don't completely mature until you get your devil arrow (lvl 69). 3rd-book anti guarantees (granted you have a 9+ crit.. or even a 7 crit bow) a crit every 3rd shot. And finish them off with arrow combo.
STR archers rely on crits and phantom walk. A usual tactic for an archer would be to anti-devil, phantom walk back, throw ice-wall up, repeat.
But if you want a great pvping build. Go str glaive.
