Skill Point Woes

I've been farming my new character since 42 and have gotten a decent amount of skill points. I was killing Uiji in 2 shots at level 43 with a 9 gap for 630 SPE each. As my character leveled I kept the gap, but I've started to get bored of farming.

I'm 6,500 SP shy of getting all my skills to 52 (I'm 46 atm). I closed my gap to 3 and now get 398 SPE per kill. I figure with a 2 level gap I'll get them by the time I hit 52. I was never a big fan of farming, but I know that its necessary to have a good, viable character at high levels.

What really gets to me is the almost exponential increase in skill points needed at higher levels.

To get my skills from level 1 to level 52 I needed ~ 52K SP, to get from 52 to 64 I will need 47K. It goes up from there. If I want a good PvP character I'll need ~ 100k more SP too.

I'd love to see more quests that give SPE rather than Exp or at least a decrease in the number of SP needed per skill.

I'm really envious of those of you that have legitamately farmed 150k+ skill points.

Well written.

As a nuker myself I've become accustomed to almost constant sp farming. 30k in my late 20's, and 25k in my late 30's. I kept a 5/6 gap until 46, then lowered it to 3 until 52 when I got rid of the gap and got all the skills I wanted.

It cost me all my sp >.<

Now I'm farming again , and plan to do so until I turn 65 where I'll have all my sp and can 0-gap it to 70 Looking forward to the yetis being my friend for a couple months.
