Need Some Support

I need to know if I should switch to armor. I like the defence and it looks cooler. I can use MP pots for the MP loss too. I was also of thinking of investing in some lightning.

MP reduction isn't significant at low lvls... so if you don't mind the speed, go with armor, imo.
what exactly's ur build?
but if you want lightening, go for it
it's gotta be a character you'll love, afterall... noone else should determine what your character will be. Just have fun!

Depends what weapon you use. If you use blade, sword, or glavie, get armor because your close-combat. If you use bow, get garmet.

eh, i use protector because the defense diff doesn't seem like that much, but i hate running slow ^^

NEVER choose your gear based on how it looks. remember, once you get to high lvls, EVERYTHING looks cool.
