Yes, thousands of topics about this but i just want to take a decision:

Ok, i want to make a blader, and i was thinking about ice, yes, i want to do everything in sro, pve, pvp, jobs, im not focused only on pvp but i want to do pvp , so i was thinking about ice but also about fire because of the damage, so i just wanted da opinions of some bladers and non bladers

Go fire. The fire tree has good buffs for a pure str anyway, and fire does more damage.

ice has a better effect and whoever says you can become immune to it, trust me its really hard to do so, you need like 100 mil gold to do so

Still slower grinding. Not good, lower dmg. Fire.

Ice is a weak force and wont take the advantage of being a pure str. blader. Since a blader has a weak attack already compared to glavie users, why not use fire to make ur attack stronger. Using ice will only prolong the fight even longer and for the most part not get u anywhere.

LOL? I did it in 1.5m

fire. You get the str buffs which u need, fire shield (which helps a TON in getting immune to cold), and the extra damage from the imbue. I've tried both, and believe me pure str ice blade will get boring after you kill about 100 monsters lol.
Also, when you use cold u do so little dmg that u wont kill a potting pure str blader even if he doesnt have universal pills and isnt immune! You probably wouldnt with fire either but... you'd come a ton closer.

so i guess ill go fire, if silkroad works ='(

Heck, you wouldn't even kill a pure int. Fire bladers still have a hard time.

Try farming alittle and max both imbues.......in a 1 on 1 battle i can make my opponent go through 150 pills in a matter of minutes...(without dying)

fire ice is total bullshit cuz of the ice resis

o rly? book 3 fire shield lvl 3 = 64% resis geting an extra 36% is rly that hard?

I am a level 20 bladder with fire and ice... Fire is more powerful but i like ice just as good, because of the differant attacks

because they're too stupid to understand int isn't made for 1v1

i think i replied to this already or not sure is it this forum but im too lazy to croll up so ill just say it again...

i think...

Ice- for ppl who like to combo alot...cuz u hit and they get frozen = they stand pretty and let u hit

Fire- for knock down / stab luvers...mor dmg and teh kd/stab and since u hop they get kd no need to ice.

but in the long term...some high lvls have 100% ice resis and ice might be not as effective.

In the end, it's your call:

Ice: Prevents you from dying.
Fire: Yeah, it's already hard to kill you since you're full str with shield, so. Fire gives you the possibility to actually kill the opponent. lol.
