hi, just asking. do a pure int char need to lvl up his imbus attack? cos i thought pure int uses only nuke....so... is there a need to lvl up the lightning or fire imbus?

I level up fire but not electric. Some people say not to lvl up electric at all. It's really up to you, and you will do more damg with a higher lvl imbue. If you have some extra SP, then go for it.

You can combine the two, just hit the imbue right before or after starting the nuke. It will increase your nuke damage.

Fire. Most dmg.

fire imbue, and obviously fire nuke but also lightning nuke if you get lightning to 30

you should always lvl your imbue as it increases ur overall dmg. so imbue and nuke - even mor dmg than just nuke.

as for which imbue to chooos..i would choose LIGHT as a spear nuker.

reasons
- it does spread dmg so u often move on to next mob even if that one doesnt die since the spread will kil it. *useful in caves*
- its the only imbue that does 2 things the spread dmg / lower parry(shock) **i think ice imbue does 2 things too but in this case we choosin between fire / lite**
- lower parry - you can do more dmg when enemy parry is lower
- also if you combine fire nuke with lite imbue you can give enemy 2 status @ ONCE. you can BURN and SHOCK them @ the same time.
- if you ice your enemy then fire nuke+ lit imbue = 3 stats all @ same time.
- more error status = mor pills = mor time for enemy to recover

fire does more damage, but think about it.....its only worth it in PvE. PvP it doesnt matter all too much.......you cant really expect to 1v1 any how.

Yes you need to lvl up them as some sad before.. which imbue?

Well:
- cold isn't really an option. It can freeze/frostbite.. but as everyone (or atleast the most) are immune at higher lvls it becomes less usefull then.

So that leaves to options: fire and light.
Fire and lightning are close to eachother.. but in the end fire does more damage. Yes, you can hit up to 3 targets with lighning imbue.. but most people intend to forget that almost all the skills have aoe already.

P.s.:

fire does more damage, but think about it.....its only worth it in PvE. PvP it doesnt matter all too much.......you cant really expect to 1v1 any how.

Fire=More damage
Ice=Slows down/Freezes
Lightning=Lower Parry Ratio/Area of Effect

Since you're a nuker (nukers are known for the massive damage they deal) I'd go with Fire.

Both nukes are good to have. I started leveling both lightning and fire imbue, but droppped lightning imbue as fire did consistantly more damage. I kept both nukes.

I lightning nuke one mob then fire nuke the second (with fire imbue). If you have book 2 fire the first mob should die as you fire on the second. Follow up with a lion shout if needed on the second mob.

Remember to get gear with as much int AND str as you can afford.

@Skit are you saying he cant expect to pvp because he is a nuker? If u are then i guess u are a typical pure str fire glavie right? Take a look at how these glaviers using sos+5 do against a pure int.
