i am 2 on str and 1 on int spearman wut should i wear armor, protector or garment?

You should restart. Your a strength hybrid. People laugh at you.
If you are less than lvl 15 it can be fixed. Otherwise its too many lvls of str.

Chaud there is nothing wrong with being a str hybrid, and he is fine. If you don't have anything useful to say don't say anything at all

Now that is out of the way, I am a str hybrid, and I switch between garment and protector. I was protector till 28. Then between that and 34, when I was done with the earth taoists, I went back to protector. For the most part protector is good idea as it gives you be benefit of both worlds of garment protection and armour protection.

On the contrary. Str hybrids are a joke. Sacraficing dmg and hp and crit dmg for more mp ?

I confirm Chauds thesis about Str hybrid. They just su.k in all way possible.

i would have to agree with Tatianasaphira on the garment and protector, it sorta depends what your figting.

I want to fight str hybrid next time to see why people say it sucks.

I would say protector. If you want garment, go ahead. But i will never ever recommend an armour

I guess youre screwed then. Like chaud said, str hybrids are a joke. Putting points into int being a str build will weaken your psy def / damage / hp greatly. For what ? More mp ?

I don't know why you are calling my char a joke. With me being a str hybrid I do great, and im nearly 45. And yes I can pvp with int bowers and I have killed them quite nicely.

STR hybrids = less dmg, lower crits for more mp. Its silly.

Yeah well there is more to this game then thinking that only a pure char is the way to go. So what if you and a few others think I and others like me are a joke. I have been doing well, and I can lvl with this build. So don't just put a person down because they want to be different. The question was whether or not for HIS build what kind of gears to be getting. Not to start a flame war over whether or not he wants to be a 'sheep' and follow around what other people tell him to do. You wanna do that, go back to Tavern...oh wait, I heard you were banned. So sorry.

The main answer, for someone who IS that build is go with Protector until Taoists. Then for that brief time, garment will be better as you will survive more. After them back to protector for degree 5 and up.

Hmmm i don't know about taoist but overall, it depends on what monster you train. Usually protectors will not help you much on magic damage, but definitely help a lot better than armour. Garment can be used only to fight monster that use magical attack. If you're not pure str/str hybrid and you're wearing garment, that's rather bad when you got mobbed.

As for str hybrid being suck, due to less HP and less dmg, i agree. But people tends to forget they get more dmg on imbue and has a better magical protection against magical attack. So overall they seems to even out with pure str except yes...less dmg. But to me it is still a great built which shouldn't be looked down upon

A build with no skills at all, just 1 mastery can level. Gold farming bots use no skills and lvl.
I don't care that its different, I care that its worthless. Im a hybrid int, they are actaully useful, sacrifing a little dmg for more hp, which they need, vs mp.
