Which build should I use?

I cannot choose between the two tanker builds I plan to use for the my new incoming character for the Red Sea server. It is true I want to level fast (excluding the lv16 farming stage). But I do want to be able to survive and tank as much as possible without really dying. I want to hit max damages for Pure STRs but I also like cool combos, knockdowns and stabs.

I don't really know what to do. There is also this thought in my head saying pick Pure STR Glavier (Fire/Light) to hit max damage for tankers and to level faster at a certain degree. My mind is telling me I cannot let the Botters surpass me in grinding, leveling or anything at all.

Then again my mind is also on the side of the Blader, cool combos, strong knockdowns and stabs. I wouldn't have to worry if it was possible to buy lv64 blade ans shield SOSs but this is a new server, it'll take awhile.

Bladers:
- cool combos
- knockdowns and stabs
- shield protection with blocks
- more defence
- good tanker

Glaviers:
- level faster than blader
- doesn't require as much as SP as blader
- High Damage
- more HP
- okay tanker
- doesn't require much Gold for weapon (no need for shield)
- better chance to kill mobs and uniques without being KSed
- doesn't require as much MP pots as bladers

I seriously was thinking of being a Glavier and then maybe wait 1-3months after before making a blader. What do you guys think?

well... since you know the differences, we can't really help you. It is up to you to decide,but personally, i prefer glavie

glaiver has more life, so the whole tank thing is almost even (though in favor of blader as levels increase)

Blader is a better PVE build at high levels. PVP it has weaknesses at lower levels. Bladers level slow, which is annoying. The only thing a blader can do to lessen the gap between glaiver is to get a nice weapon, which costs money. So... a blader is usually a good second character.

Glaivers on the other hand always have high end damage. Even without the rare weapons, they still do a lot of damage. They level faster, and are cheaper IMO to get gear for. (Blader need both good weapon/shield, archers need arrows in beginning, nukers need lotsa mp pots for a first charc, kinda expensive.)

IMO glaiver is probably a better first character, but then agian, with all the botters and such, the economy is probably already ruined.

Go glavier, on a new server you’d probably want to level up fast. Since you want to be pure str: Glavier.
Only when you build one, stick to it, make it high level, no use of starting a blader after 3 months and abandon all your work on the glavier..

Anyways that’s my view.. I’d go nuker :p really addicted to that build.

I voted glaiver to.. if you can't choose always pick the easiest way

But:
- A glaiver needs a shield as much as a blader does.. for when you get knocked-down by a blader ^^

I voted for blader because i want to fight more bladers(During PVP) when i lvl up. I want to see how much blader can tank hehe
