I remember all i would hear was how castle shield, flametower, crystal wall, demon spear, etc were useless. but i have noticed several people having them in their quickslots. and i never noticed each book does something different. im just curious if anyone uses these and like how do you that its still effective.

i use them for fun but not in PVP

i use crystal wall in pvp all the time it pwns , i play a int/spear and if i get low life , ghost walk away and bring up the wall, lets your HP recharge some. summon the wall than start a nuke, since the cast time for those is long they wont be able to stun/KD before you can nuke. If I get a good stun tho i can finish off most str players so I use the hit/run tactic with the wall until that happens.

I have had great succes using the firewall in pvp aswell, since a lot of ppl cant 1 skill it. But then again, im an archer - i got range

2nd book of the bloody fan series confuses the hell out of people. they're like hitting you then alla the sudden "BLOCK" and they're like WTFBBQ!!?!?! you don' thave a shield!

Icewall could be good for Ints but.. I think it's just a waste of SP.

Yeeeeaayaaaa!! i use those kinda skills for picking on pppl. lol i launch the vital spot muscle and ppl attack me cuzz they think i attacked them!! oh yeah and when i see a low lvl person wearing a scarf and going to lvl up i annoy the hell outta them with the first ice projectile that does 1 damage. but that is just when i am supppppppppperrrrrrboreed.

I've seen the firewall used today by an int spear. Well used it is really strong.
However, it can be dangerous too if you don't use it at the right time.

There are no such things as useless skills, each can be good in their own way


Examples:
Someone´s doing a nuke on you, and you have low hp left so you´ll surely die if it hits. Cast bloody-fanstorm series b2 and voila! you have a 50+% chance that nuke gets blocked .. which, if it succeeds, gives you time to pot the hp back for a bit.

You´re in a group fight as a blader, and face an opponent you can´t kill by yourself. You cast castle-shield and voila! You can wait till someone helps you while having the chance you´ll die decreased alot :o!

Or maxed book 3 and cut dmg in half? Then its a much better chance at living...what if it doesnt block?

i get the bloody fan spear just for fun. i get other ppl to start spinning their glaives and before you know it, u have 10 idiots spinning their fans in a circle. XD. its great. u can do things like this with the walls too.


but it really does take a skilled person to time the "useless" skills cause its just hard to use them right. many ppl cant do it so it's called useless. XD

if u farm enough, u will get it then love it.

but compaired to the basic skills that ppl require, they r less important oviously

well it s simple : if they use them they aren t useless , and if they don t so it s useless tricky question lucky u i have 120 iq

Well maybe some have misunderstood me. im not saying they are useless, just thats what i have heard from everyone as i lvled.

Mmm am gonna level my moutain shield to max when i hit cap ^__^ as it increase BR %, i want to test it out agaisnt nukers, when they cast, il put it on

As i already said Firewall is the best skill for pvp that an pure int can use .

But there are also bad sides on it:
- when on a guild war, you can easily die if 2 or 3 ppl are attacking u at once. One will nuke or use arrows if archer and destroy firewall and the other will kill u fast. So always watch out when firewall is on.

- when fighting archer, NEVER use firewall or ice wall. Archers have a greater range than nukes so u can't attack them and they will destroy your wall.

Ofcourse that's a much better idea was just giving examples.. maybe 2nd book for when even the half of the nuke can kill you? *if it blocks you also get a 25% stun effect without useing another skill, at lower lvls xD*

Btw I <3 fire wall for thieving.. they can't run away from you when having a camel, so they really need to break it down

True... Hawk is really usefull.. Even a Glaver use Hawk skill now....

Once I do some farming, I'm gonna max the bloody fan series, just cause I think it could be lots of fun to use it randomly and confuse people.

the walls are absolutely indespensible for PvP, and not only for ints. i ahve seen pure strs tank zerked nukers by just flipping back and forth between walls and phantoming away every time the first wall falls. for me, my 3rd book of ice wall is something that i don't know how i ever played without. i also use the white hawk for its AR bonus (as well as the bow passive). every little bit helps, and it sure looks cool :)

Meh I don't use hawk because you can increase ar on your weaps now with the alchemy

OKOK I USE IT GOOH But only because I farmed at lower lvls with a bow xD I'll delvl it later when I get to my 300 mastery's.. which will be in like.. erm.. when we get 90 cap =.=" and when I actually am lvl 90... ....
