If I were you, first take all advice with a grain of salt and play the way you want. There are many ways to build an awesome character. That said, I would take the very last skill on the force tree (@ lvl 10), to increase your mana permanently (being str, you'll need it).

I would wait to train specific force skills, b/c self heal is a mana hog and it stops your attack.. Just buy pots for now. don't bother with the sword skill that says something to the effect of "you'll be like a castle standing in the middle of the field" it's effective, but you can't attack while you're using it.

Take the first sword skill for now, and when you get to where you can add it, take the one where you throw your blade at your enemy.. when you get to higher level agressive monsters, you'll be able to land an ice shot from far away and slow them before they can fight back... you'll be a formidable opponent for pvp... have fun and see you on the Silk Road!

PS Blade is for brute force and sword is generally magical, but same skills. ;-)

If you're going pure strength, you might want to consider putting skill points into the weapon tree. No point being a strength user when your skills are all based on the magic tree. The damage you deal will be mainly from your strength and with high strength, that damage is mainly physical damage, not magical.

The guide section will give you greater insights to what skills are useful and what to avoid. There are guides that explain how damage is dealt and calculated. You can choose to follow the advice given or play mainly according to your own style, whichever you feel is good for you. Then again, there are always the high level folks who can explain to you things about the game.

If you're going the pure Str route, Fire force is your best bet for dealing the most damage.

But take heed: swords are Int weapons. Blades are Str weapons.

You seem to be mixing it all up a bit there, which is great, there's nothing wrong with that. :) It just means you're experimenting, getting a feel for it all. For the more 'serious' or hardcore gamer, however, I always suggest sticking with one or the other: Sword+Int or Blade+Str.

It's always nice to see new faces here. Look around, read some of the guides, and above all, just experiment and have fun with it. :) You will find what suits you best, and with the help of the good people here, you can shape your character into something powerful.
