BIG issue here! weapon skills for pure ints? =/

I would use a sword+shield under all circumstances.. and the point I choosed heuksel is because I found the passive much more handy. With the +block you can add on weapons now block is less important, and ofcourse block = luck where hp = a extra security.

But! Now I read that every int uses atleast some weapons skills from time2time.. and I wouldn´t have any if putting my sp´s in Heuksel while using a sword+shield

Can anyone please leave a comment, and give me some advise

Pure ints... wel i dont know.. maybe some are usefull like erm.. ghost spear and such, but keep them very low level. mainly you rely on nukes.

Hybrid ints use a lot of weapon skills, that;s a fact

I know hybrids do, but I'm a pure int that is ^^. And if I want to use any weapon skills while wearing a s+s I need to add sp in bicheon, which I don't want unless I really need to.

So quess the question sorta is: "do you need weapon skills at all or will nukes + lion shout do?" I don't want to end up in a situation where I have to delvl heuksel because a vew minor weapon skills are actually very usefull to have.

In my opinion

weapon skill is a must

Kd+ stab can save ur life and give u time to charge ur nuke

also the dmg i do with Kd is almot close to the nuke dmg

keepin in mind that u will get double stab in lvl 68 :wink:

also there devil cut which have a dmg almost like lion shout

and if u do a crit it do more dmg than lion shout

( also third book give u 2 shots .... :wink:

)

and in spear the stunn in soul spear could finish the fight

stunn him the finish him with a nuke

also knock back ( ghost spear )

become so handy when u knock him back u cancel his skill

and give u time to charge ur nuke

belive me u cant win by only nukes

u will die b4 charging the 2nd nuke :roll:

im using this one for my 33 pure int altough when u get to lvl 30 all the things u will be using is just ur nukes so weapon skills arent nesscerry

plus the cold tree has the ice gaurd (Pysical Deffense) is essentail
casue most mobs use pysical attacks
and u will have very low torlaence for pysical attacks

sure sword'blade users lose some block, but we have crit parry on the shield. that is pretty darn good. lol.

additionally, our +7% BR is nice. we make BR10 go to 17 XD

lolercakes who care about lvl 90gap if they dont increase skill mastery at 90 i wont go for it i bet at lvl 90 ppl will start sending bug reports and crap 2 make them add masterys mines

ill eliminate my force for lvl 80 cap which i will only up my forces maybe not fire no cold if there is no more guard

I don´t really like the bicheon tree as a pure int, because the only skills that are really usefull are:
- KD+stab -> luck and lvl based (need to max it for succesfull use)
- passive -> also it´s luck and not really super helpfull

I´m leaning towars heavy-int hybrid spear

Thats what to do with sword shield nuker right there. Wins 1v1 most the time against anyone on Babel.

Yeah but hmm.. first of that's a hybrid xD and second of all.. she may be good now, but as soon as the cap gets increased she'll have to de-lvl and such.

I'm 99% sure I'll make my build the following for now:
90fire
90light
30heuksel

Once I get higher lvl I can always decide whether to become:
- Hybrid sword (add 90 sword
- Hybrid spear (add 60 spear +30 cold
- Pure int 2active, 2passive mastery's (light/fire @ 90 .. spear/cold @ 60)
- Pure int 3active, 1passive mastery (light/fire/cold @ 90 .. spear @ 30
- or maybe even something else.. we'll see

Thnx for your posts ^^ I'll take it all in my consideration when I get 60+ (that's probably the lvl I should really decide)

Shes only a LITTLE hybird. And it was an accident when she was lowbie. As a pure int she could still have 8k HP.

I made a Sword [FUN] Nuker... It's main mastery is ICE and sub is LIGHT.

Level 70 Light
Level 70 Ice
Level 70 Sword
Level 60 Spear

Amazingly, i find myself alot stronger then a fire nuker >.< im hyrbid and my blance is 79% phys - 101% mag.

Not telling anyone my build so dnt ask... i need to fix it abit so its 80-100 >.<

currently im getting heaps of +5 STR increases, these will apply to Head, Chest, Legs, Boots, Shoulders, Gloves, Shield, Sword, Earings, Necklace, Ring, Ring. This is a total of 12x5 which = 60... thats alot of extra HP+my spear passive at lvl 6. Not telling you my hp either cause will give away my build.

IMO, yes, get heuk skills. Afterall, where's the uniqueness in imbue+nuke+nuke and repeat?

My SST lvl1 does as much damage as my nukes, and the crit makes it just that much more essential. (I'm only lvling SS & GS btw)

ice nukes actually looks very nice, and once the 2nd book is maxed at lvl 10, with ice imbue you only hit about 200 under.... with fire imbue you hit like fire nuke ^_^

fire nuke and ice imbue = like ice nuke with ice..
fire nuke with fire imbue = about 200-300 higher...

this is MAXED ICE AND FIRE AND IMBUES...

and actually, ice is fun to muck around with lol.. but now since i just found lvl 64+3 SOS spear crit 9 with 1200-1500 magical dmg and 800-900 phys dmg. im changing to spear, this now gives me more thingy points so i can max my fire now

I just made +7.. thats why it so strong.

i admit it, fire is strong, but ice isnt WEAK... none of you know what its like to max it out ^_^ I do... now with spear i have no idea what im going to hit... but im waiting for my work money to go into CC, then i will buy 500 silk and reallocate my sword masterys and put into fire...

So now it is

69 Heuksal
70 Fire
70 Light
70 Ice

I think ill hit quit abit more ^_^

ive maxed out the ghost spear moves and books.. very good finish off and i have chain spear dragon maxed. very awsome

i stil use ice imbue cuz fire so boring.. and ill mostly PvE so freezing monsters is good i guess?

now getting to the point where ppl say at higher lvls ppl have ice immunity... it still doesnt matter, ice imbue maxed 4th book is just as strong as lightning 4th book maxed. ^_^

so when i farm enough SP, i will max all my fire imbues to.. HAHA joy, if i reallocate this whole char ill have like 600k SP...

Book 2 maxed ice nuke dmg: 269-403
Book 2 fire nuke maxed dmg: 424-707
If your magical and ice nuke always hits at the highest end of the scale, and fire at the lowest....maybe.

Imbune (Maxed)
Cold:286~429
Fire:351~584
Again nowhere near as strong. Your claims just went out the window.

Btw, chain spears are a novetly skill.
