I'm planning on eventually making a half decent PVP player and especially a group PVP player.
1. Spear v SS
Spear: HP passive, stun from SS, higher damage from nukes and good damage in ss
SS: Block and block passive, extra defense, kd + stab
2. 90% v pure int
Hybrid : Better chance to tank crits and take more damage.
Pure int : More damage
3. Cold or no cold
Cold: extra phys defence and possiblity for that lovely aoe nuke if i lvl it this far
No cold: more sp to spend in spear/ss skills
I need some advice on these three things, i've been back and forth on them for a while now and i can't decide.
Right now im lvl 36 with a 3 gap and just under 20k sp. 33 fire, 33 light, 30 cold. Currently using a spear as i find it does v. well in PVE and i won't pvp till 40 +

Well, as far as I know, and this is just a hypothesis, int = damage, you should not concern yourself with defense and protective tactics if all you want to do is damage, in PVP you'll most likely end up staying to the side and shooting in nukes. The more damage you do the faster they go down and less chance they have to hit you. Concerning yourself with a few hundred HP is not worth the extra few hundred damage you can do.
With spear you will do massive damage and people die quicker, but you however have to run and hide from their offense.
With S&S you have weaker attack and you also have to run and hide but you have a tiny chance of blocking those 1hit KO attacks.
IMO: The more damage you do as an int the better.

What good's the extra damage if you don't survive long enough to deal it?
