Does anyone actually use the Cold Wave series?

The Cold Wave series is pretty much useless, and not many people invest sp in it. I wouldn't count on anyone having a screen of Cold Wave Shackle. As for Frost Nova Storm, I have seen it in some videos. It looks similar to Frost Nova Wind, except the wave of ice is taller, spikier, and overall larger.

frost nova lvl 1 book is only 1 line,, book 2 does like some kind of star shape ?

Cold wave is useless for PvP. Firstly although the game description claims instant cast you STOP to cast it. Secondly it is pilled away in a flash. Because of this you lose distance if you were trying to snare a runner.

Frost Nova Book 1 and 3 is average. The whole series is NOT for chasing runners. The range is much too short. Book 2 is good for PBAE CC (point blank area of effect crowd control). When a bunch of lowbs zerg you hit Book 2 and everyone's 100% slowed and 50% frozen. Book 1/3 freezes them in a line (no one stands in a line in pvp).

So are both skills only useful for certain situations like when u get ganked? and overall tey suck??

if u wanna get cold, dont get anything past lvl 1 except imbue and the nuke. everything else is a waste.

cold wave = just useless
frost nova = can be pilled so all u need is the 1 second

i got frostnova gonna get the 2nd book its fun to mess about with, and the ice buff, the giant ice cubes look nice

and stalling with ice wall is neaaat

^^^^all useless reasons. btw, its proven a better looking stalling doesnt sell the things in it.
