I have a lvl 21 Pure str glavie, and have wearing armor, from lvl 1, and i saw a movie with a pure str glavie, and he were wearing Garment, he was 70 tho. So my question is, is it good to wear Garment as a Pure str Glavie?

As a pure STR build, you'll have a high physical defence (because of the many STR points), so people tend to use gear with higher magical defence (protector or garment).

My character is also a pure STR glaive, and I'm using protector gear.

...Also consider that garment reduces your MP consumption of 20% , allowing you to carry fewer MP pots (as a pure str, my inventory is always filled with that damn blue pots ).

hmm.. iv bn hinking a bit about this to. but if a full str glaive full armor fight a full str glaive with arm. wouldet the one n armor kick the garm ass pretty hard? the garment would only help them surviving vs nukers.. right?

Yes thats right. But you can be sure nukers will FRY you in armor.

You'd have lowest possible mag def besides being naked.

And generally it's too expensive to upkeep 2 sets of armor so it's best to make a choice.

Personally I prefer protector - the point of a pure str is to have a high physical defense, so why not play to your strengths? I don't see the point in reducing your physical defense to something only 'good' to make an average magical defence. Protector ftw.

Yup, it's all up to individual preferences.

But blader's are alot more resilient to str characters coz of shield so most choose garment for reduced damage from nukers.

What I mean is that str's frankly can't kill a blader without a few consecutive crits.

Nukers on the other hand if you give him 10s to nuke you back to back you're toast.

I would say that Garment is good for PvM. For PvP it depends on what type of character u are fighting.
