Just got to lvl 16 today, just have some questions.

Well I hit lvl 16 today, I was at 14 for a day or two with a 9 level gap and farmed about 1000 SP before I gave up due to my crappy bow and skills, and upped my ice and bow masteries to 8.

Now I am at 16, and I'm a pure str/ice bowman and have an 8 lvl gap and only about 1300 SP.

I wonder if I even need to farm at all. Some people ingame said it was pointless to farm and it's a waste of time. And some say to do it. Is it worth it?

What are the strengths of a pure str/ice bowman? I know strength is good for survival, but the int people do so much more damage than me it outweighs the survival factor as they will probably be alive by the time they kill something tough.

Should I leave my ice mastery at 8 and work on my fire mastery? The guides here are helpful, but not everything is explained in them. Should I follow kagenutto's guide and eventually drop my gap to 6 until lvl 30?

Thanks for any help. I really like the archer class so far, with the ice imbue I'm able to kill some things before they can even get close to me.

Regardless of build, everyone will need to farm at some point, be it at the bandit den, the cave, or anything in between. You simply cannot accumulate enough sp going through with a small level gap to get all the necessary skills. So yes it is worth it. If you want to be an archer go all str. It will help your crits hit harder, among other benefits.

Go pure Str as an archer for crits

Personally, ice is a favourite as archers but i left a lv30 ice archer due to the dmg.. Ice=More defense, Fire=More damage (and defense)+You'll have Flame Body
