Hybrid chars, my everlasting insanity

Ok, so i see all these people SCREAMING and going MENTAL over hybrid chars, saying they ABSOLUTELY suck.

If this game was made for so called, "pure breds" then i dont particually want to play it.

I myself, am new to this forum (first post  ) and new to the game. (lvl 20 hunter) yet, ive done a few rounds of pvp, and owned a few pure int's, and owned some pure str's yet ive been beaten by them all the same.

Im a glaive/fire/force char with lvl 12 ice and lightning for the grass walk and slow down skills for trade runs, 3:1 str/int.

I mean, whats really so bad about this? i get to max out proposed damage with my high strength, yet i max out even MORE dmg with my fire skills, then having enough mana to heal full time, and survive taking aggro.

Forgive me for my strong views, but i think peopel are too strong to jump at players who play hybrids, because i can say, mine certainly looks like it can kick some ass at high level, and i know it does now.

Greetz to everyone, hope i dont offend ya'll ^^

Two things:

The higher the level, the bigger the difference. At level 20 the amount of points you have in str/int isn't a huge difference.

The main argument is that a hybrid will never do as much damage as a pure int, or tank as well as a pure str. But on the other hand, people seem to forget that a hybrid will be able to take more hits then a nuker and do more damage then a pure str.

Either way, try to keep one of your balances above 85%, optimally 90%. And enjoy your character, there's no point in having a character you won't be able to grind with because you don't enjoy playing it.
