Balances...

Ok so basically I know pretty much nothing about balances lol. Tell me everything that you know. If some of you could help me gain a little knowledge that'd be neat lol. Thanks

Balance=1% of your damage.

I think its like... You multiply it by your damage. So its like 99%=you do 99% damage. Probably wrong though.

as a general rule, the higher your balance, the more dmg of that type you do. i believe it to be a % of the total dmg you can do with whatever type of attack/skill you're using, but that could be wrong.

all wrong :P

phy balance if that is 96% than u get 96% extra dmg when it's critted and mag balance if that is 18% than u get 18% extra mag dmg.

Lol... the statement above is false.

Crit always double physical damages, it has nothing to see with balance.
I'm full int with 59-60% phy balance. When I use physical attack without imbue and I get a crit, it is always about twice the normal dmg.

The most common idea about balance is that they are the last factor in the formula.
It could be something like :
Final damages = (total skill dmg / stats influence / weapon dmg, well everything) * Balance

So it could be a direct increase of damage.

Since you need extra str or int to increase balance, it makes sense that it increases dmg ;)

2X the damage? I did my soul spear for about 750 dmg and when it got critical it just managed to get 1200 max

imbue damages are not doubled.
That's why crits for int (pure) have almost no use : the part of physical damage is very low.
Most of the damages come from the imbue.
