Hi guyz

I know u all heard about the last GNGWC

and there is somethin about it really took my attention


i heard that they gave them 250 state point to distribute it the way they like

and the Top 5 builds who won the GNGWC

was all Hybrids .............

and i have a pic too of GM crayon being asked about wut is the best build in high lvls pure int pr pure str ?

and he said Actually Hybrids do really good in high lvls

( i may get u that pic but it will take some time to search 4 it )

any way i wanna ask any1 who have a Hybrid Char lvl 6x

specially 2:1 Hybrid

i wanna know if it do really good in high lvls ????

if any1 have an idea about this... plz join the disscusion

well the winner for the US contest has his build as a Hybrid...and he will start on a new char...using what he made in the compitition as his new char. no doubt in my mind his build to pwn.

Hmm... Im not quite 6x yet, but 56. And I am a hybrid, with 92% mag balance and 68% phys balance, and I gotta say in 1 on 1 hybrid really owns. Can easily take out str users at my lvl cuz if they dont have zerk (me neither that is^^) they are far from onehitting me, even a crit isnt enough. And a nuker cant onehit me neither cuz my mag defence is too high but I can oneshot a pure int nuker due to his lag of hp. So, as far as I have experienced it, a hybrid isnt that bad as I thought it would be.

well all the balances were set at 75% so ive heard...

so its not fair to compare the GNG builds to the builds we have on our normal servers

Huh...I have never believed in perfect build. There is no such thing in my opinion. Each has their own usefullness and weakness

you have to keep in mind that GNG compt, they only got to use npc weps(crit 1). Therefore pure str would be very weak caused by thier 1 crit weps. On the real servers full str tips the scale wit thier crit. Don't get me wrong I think hybrid s/s are great builds, but I also think you need to consider the fact that items play a big role.

and also they fight unqiues, not each other ?

the winner of the GNGWC had a full SoSun set and weapon

also most of the players got a set SoSun

cuz they said SoSun drops alot from Unique monster whice they are alot

Player = 20 point

wow...this really makes me wana become a hybrid XD. but then.. i would have to upgrade heuskal or bicheon, which would take up a shit load of sp..

Mhhh.... would say 3:1 rather than 2:1. And in pvp I use a nuke+Imbue against nukers, maybe a Lionshout if they got too many hp and Nuke + KD+ Stab against str builds, in most cases thats enough to take them down.

would 90% str build be of any good ?

Str Hybrid sucks. Int Hybrid was very suited for GNG since you have to do both decent PvP, and decent PvE.

i'm a hybrid ...
bascially in 1 v1 against pure str glaive my lvl i almost never lose before...and against blader shield... it usually ended in a draw or either one die due to block / crit etc....

my phy is 72% mag is 98%

Hybrid really shine at higher lvl .... wif 8k hp and 12k mana and wif fire and ice tree up to 60+ mastery u gonnna have alot of def against phy or mag atk

don! don change hybrid sux big time so little HP and weak nuke it sux sux sux my dmg was so low that i only do 3k steb on my same lv str (^.^)V and kill him in 3 shot

if u think someday u will have a full sosun set so go hybrid

Ok this is the reason why i THINK hybrid is a little weaker than pures

You can't attack using both magic and physical skills at once (Exception imbues + skill). In other words you can't nuke and use soul spear at once. Since hybrid has a lower % in physical compared to pure str and lower % in magical compared to pure int, the rate of damage output is less.

And to make it a point. You can make a hybrid from pure but not the other way round. Lol, you if you're thinking to change to hybrid, be sure you're not going to back out.

A hybrid with 90% mag balance PWNS.
I had a hybrid and i still do on my 1st account.
And i never lost to anyone my lvl if i was potting but thought i was weak because took me longer than others to kill mobs.
Now i realize i wasnt weak at all...

what to say? im more scared of a good built hybrid then a pure int.

coz you oneshot pure INTs but not hybrids

Hmmm when i came to think of it this is what i conclude

If your physical+magical balance is very high, your damage output is high. This is because magic and physical are equally matched (E.g. Imbue + skills) Anyway i am gonna make a new topic on 4 builds and wanted to know each of the advantages
