Pure str build with both glaive/bow?
Pure str build with both glaive/bow?
Hi I'm new to the game, and I was wondering, is it possible for a pure str to be badass with both glaive and bow at hi level? i'm currently going for pure str fire glaive and have PVP in mind. or does a glaiver not really bother with long range stuff, and just goes in and mauls? right now i'm lvl 15, lvl 6 fire, lvl 6 spear and bow, and i have the first skill in both spear and bow.
It's possible and can be fun, it just takes double the amount of SP as it would for just one weapon.
Here is a guide for how this works, you may have to register look at it.

I've tried it and while it is fun and has many advantages to doing just one weapon, it just felt weird using two weapons and thought of it as a big waste of SP, but you might like it.

This is the build I started with. Put bow in quickslot 1 and glaive in quickslot 2. I am now slowly deleveling the bow skills. This is a great, fun build early in the game. But, once you get to the higher levels it starts to become prohibitively expensive to find 2 good weapons. Also you can't fit all the skills and both weapons on 1 bar unless you only use a few of each. I will keep bow at 30 until I need the mastery levels later. Right now I have gotten rid of everything except white hawk, the passive, and bk 2 of anti-devil.
FWIW bow in a harmony circle is the shizznit.

Gave in to the force of rationallity. Uninstalled this bot infested game and never looked back.
Now I just play in the OTL and my old guild forum.

thanks for advice guys. yeh i'm thinking of developing only a few skills for bow. hawk, anti devil, and maybe multi arrow. but maybe i'll farm the bow's sp points later, i'll focus on getting close to the ~100 k i need for the blade first.
