Ultimate Str Bow Build

Which is ultimatly better for the Str Bow. Ice or Fire? I know the damage done is conciderably different for fire, but those debuffs w/ ice are nice. Which is best, Ice or Fire?

This is an ongoing battle between ice and fire users but in my opinion for bow users ice is more effective since you can usually kill weaker stuff before it even gets near you. Of course the same is possible with fire since it does do more damage than ice. Still freezing and debuffing is a huge advantage for bow users.

For a bow user, I'd suggest ice.

Why not both? You have 300 mastery levels, so you can max out your bow, fire and ice skills, and still have 60 levels left for whatever you want. That's probably the way I'm gonna go with my new character...I think.

Freeze them with an ice attack and blow them away with some massive fire-thing.

forewarned tho, two force masteries plus one weapon is extreme taxing on sp...making sure u choose one of the imbues , best of ice tactical and defense and fire's nuke damage and protection.

I'd suggest fire. At later levels such as 40+, ice won't effect much in PvP because other people will have resistance and billions of pills. If your going PvM, I'd suggest Cold because the freeze effects them.

In most pvp's (using cape) people dont use pills/pots/pil cuz its really a watse of money... If your doing a job, ice is better because you can freeze your enemy w/o them knowning it, and then go for the kill fast.

problem with this is that most people havnt seen high level colds.

also, pills dont heal the entire thing. by the time you do (2 pills) that could be around 2-3 hits. or a nuke.
