I couldn't find any post of this at all, Who actually uses it?. Im a pure int/spear/thunder character can anyone tell me is it worth investing in?. I'm Looking at wall's final lvl (sorry don't know the skill name lol) 4k hp worth of protection that caught my eye. Wouldn't it be useful for pvp wise?.I'm lvl 30 and sp farming want some advice before spending my precious sps..

if you're a pure int user, you're gonna be skimpy on hp even later in the game (the most powerful nuker i know has less than 1600 hp at lvl45-ish). a wall - be it ice or fire - may mean you get to live to take a 2nd shot.

archers can stand in this wall thingy , shoot and gain 0 damage .
Nukers can stand in this wall thingy , nuke and gain 0 damage . If not dead nuke again and survive.

The best thing about it, is that how big the last hit is that breaks the wall, the wall will still absorb all of it. For example, i have 700 health at lvl 19 and my ice wall blocks say 800 dmage. A lvl 45 attacks me and does 750 damage reducing my wall to 50 damage left. He then uses a weapon skill taking off 4000 damage. The wall dissapears, leaving 3950 unresolved damage. However due to the nature of the shield, i take none of this 3950 damage as it is all absorbed.

how long do you need to cast the ice wall spell? i mean there are some 'instant' spells like grass walk and some that need a few seconds to be cast like ice guard and such.
i was thinking about to get me the ice wall, for when i lure many mobs on me that extra protection would come handy and i could still reach them with my glaive. it could be maybe even useful in a meele vs meele fight if the opponent dont steps back

i have the fire tower which is same thing as the ice wall im guessing and it just makes the mobs do more dmg to me idk y.

Fire wall is for MAGIC damage... wont have effect on physical.

Answering Chuo, it was around 2-3 seconds for the first book from memory. I'm not sure if the casting time may change in further books however. Thats probably its big weakness, if you dont cast it until the opponant is hitting you, it may not be *that* useful.

Sounds good for a bow user who has high levels in far shot skill.

I can swing my sword at enemies in this wall thingy and gain 0 damage...

I rarely use it and usually the situation is that I'm surrounded by several hard monsters and I need to get my health back before they kill me. Wall protects long enough while I cast my heal skill and heal myself to full HP (or use HP pots).

had this for my archer at level 30 and now usign ir for a soon to be nuker..
i think it is worth it, its not a waste and if ur pute int.. u have the mana for it to obsorb..
its saved my ass several time... low hp vsing two giants... wall it up heal ur ass and u can live to hit again..
good for pure int... >< i rememebr having under 1k hp at level 35.. it stings when ur hit.. tats for sure.. wouldnt suggest levelign ice jsut to get it if ur not going to use any other ice skills but if you are a Int cold user, get it.
