seriously speaking, what CAN a str bower actually kill. [regardless of pot]
of course i hear people ask why i stick to bow b/c of the long charge ups to atk, but i like bows, its all about the fun

If you like bow, keep it. Don't let others force you to choose something you don't like. Bows aren't great at 1v1 PVP, but they're deadly in large group fights.

When there's a bunch of chaos, you sneak up from behind and start picking off people before they even know what's going on. LanT is one of the best archers on troy and when his guild wars, the tanks go out and start trouble and then while the enemy is preoccupied, LanT starts sniping people.

I also heard it aint the best/strongest weapon. But i prefer the fun above trying to be the best

Bow isn't too flashy either, unfortunately.

But it has Anti-devil, imo one of the best looking spells in the game.,

dont let anyone dissuade you from what you want. The game is about having a good time, not listening to what the majority of people say. Just choose what you want and have a good time But for the record, pure str bows can very often beat nukers of same lvl or lower

yes true it doesnt have any really flashy moves, but wth, all u have is a bow and arrows XD

yea being a bower is quite fun and i love it. my friend just told me, to be a sucessful bower, kill anything bfore it sees u XD

come to think of it i've never seen 2 bowers pvp. But i guess its just whoever crits with AD first.

I'm doing good at PvP vs blade, but I have a feeling 2-3 soul departs would kick my ass.

Bow does good against INT's

Bow..ers are one of the better builds in my opinion. They are unstoppable at low levels and can ks like a mother... i wont go any further.

Anyways, bowers are one of those builds where you dont have to sp farm or sp farm like a 1000 sp to become great >__>

I'd like to hear some input on how bowers do at like lvl 5x+ (with average weapons), do the nukers steal the ksing crown?

hehheh yea it is easy to ks, not that i practice that.

i also wanna hear some higher lvl pure str bowers, are you good against specific pvpers, or just having the time of your life

Str Achers are basically the equivalent of Int Nukers. I think what mainly gives an advantage to nukers is their AOE Nukes which is usually a lot more than the bow AOE attacks

But STR bow has the advantage of more HP, so they can own nukes, and some blade/glaives.

this is based off same lvl and plz leave msg if you disagree. 1on 1 vs int=bow wins. 1on1 vs blade=most of the time bow wins. 1on1 with a glaive= don't even try it.

That's what garment is for, as for the shield..We're screwed ^.^

Which is why, bow does not do well in pvp. The good thing is, say if u're thieving or hunting, u can shoot ppl even if they try to run away. A bow with demon soul can shoot up to 21m, assuming u have grasswalk and phantom walk urself, even some1 who maxed phantom walk can't escape u without getting at least one hit in. Plus, bow is good in guild wars and very good in pve.

Bows aren't the best for 1 on 1. Can I kill a nuker of my level, yes if I crit him and he doesn't block. Can I kill another bow user, if I get the damage first, yes. Can I kill a blader or nuker of my level, probabaly not.

Knowing your weaknesses are important. For those reasons I'm a sneaky bastard in PvP. I attack those lower than me, attack from behind, and fight in groups, using focused fire on targets.

I like using a bow, its fun. Most PvP fights aren't fair to begin with. The sooner you realize it the better off you are.

one more question, i have a lvl 32+5 bow, do i stick with it untill lvl 42, or start looking for lvl 35, 38 bows?

32 + 5 should last you through 38, so find a 38 + 3 or whatever you like. A 35 + 3 will do you no good unless it's crit is significanlty higher than the 32 + 5's, to which you'd get since bow crits are what makes the build. I'd save the money for a devent 38 + 3, but don't forget you want an awesome 42 + X

and ya.. what type of bow is suitable for 42? sox? or +?

at lv 42.. because thats when it gets hard with no quests.. I would say SOS would be nice. If you're poor (like me) go +3...

i didnt even consider getting any ++ bows, until some random guy offered me the +5 bow for hecka cheap

you can survive without a + bow, it will just take longer to kill stuff and you will use more pots, arrows, pills, and get less exp over time.

IMO get the best bow you can afford. Skimp on other stuff, if you can kill it before it hits you, thats good.

I know archers are generally used for support, and I can see you bringing a glavier with you while you trade, but how do you it?

Generally archers are not good for 1vs1, I mean, imagine a real life fight. The archer stands there while, it gets bombarded by glavie hits, come on now.

I think str/bows can fare against nukers, just so long as that they don't block an Anti-Devil or Strong bow

well in real life, an archer would pwn the crap outta anything,

its like putting a fight b/n a g36 gunner and a guy with a taser

I kill most people lower level than me easily. Nukers I can kill if higher level and I crit. If I zerk, I can kill higher levels. That and I'm sneaky and don't always fight alone.

Rarely are fights fair, people need to stop thinking they are. Why enter a fight you can't win, unless winning isn't your objective.

To answer the question I'm hunter 2 and thief 2+70% and my arrange are almost always over 2k.

i'm a fire/str glavier atma nd ia lways hunt alone, turning bow gud idea cz i love using dem but i also wanna do gud in hunting, and for the sake of it, glavirs are like bows worst nightmare. And do u think str bows can pwn hybrids with the firewall on?
