flow pierce useless for a str glavie?

flow pierce useless for a str glavie?

Well im a full str fire glaive, also have light and cold for buff's, but some people have told me must flow piercing is useless for me since i dont nuke, but i have alway's been told it help's with the fire damage, and the damage i do. so should i use it, or not?
Grimnoff: lvl 5x str fire glavie
