yea but nowadays everyone is going fire and it seems like no 1 remebers good old cold...is it possible to be a good 1v1 str cold blader? or is the damage just to little and the match would be a stalimate?or could i just use cold for monsters and fire or light for pvp ..is this build possible?

Generally, ice bladers cannot kill anyone their own level, because of their low damage. They are regularly used to slow down an enemy, until your friends can gank him. The use of ice bladers has decreased even further with the new alchemy. All it takes is some time and money to make them useless. However, many people don't bother with ice immunity until the higher levels. Make one if you want, but be aware their use is limited. If you ever want to kill someone who's not below your level, you will need to switch to/make a fire blader.
When using an ice blader in PvP, your objective is to render your enemy immobile so you don't get hit. For that reason, the best skills are chains. They give you more chances to effectively freeze and cancel the opponent's skills. Besides, there's that glitch with frozen enemies and KD/stab anyway. Passive is always good. For sub, lightning has speed buffs and fire has the physical/magic damage buffs. Choose between the two.

In fire get Flame Body series, since you are pure STR. You can also get the fire shield series to help you with status effects, but don't put too much into this until later. Definitely get the passive. In lightning, I don't see much else to get other than Grasswalk, and maybe Concentration and Piercing Force. The Piercing Force series won't give you much of a damage increase, but it can help to some extent. If you even get hit, Concentration can help you take less damage, but ice bladers don't need it that much.

Friend, there is nothing to prove. In many western fantasy games, ice/cold spells are very effective and do lots of damage. Not so with SRO. The damage is horrible, just look at the stats, and the only saving grace is a status that can be potted away or reduced to nothing with alchemy. What is there to prove?
I know 3 lvl 60+ bladers who are farming to get fire, and get rid of cold, and a lvl 45 blader, who is now doing the same within my guild.
All it takes to prove my point, is to get an ice-blader to pvp with me using a cape. I wear no armor at all, only the jewelry with anti-freeze, and use no pots. I use a measley lvl 8 bow (so I don't kill you before you see the effect), and you try to freeze me. Then we count how many times you cancel a buff. With 2, 3, and 4 arrow combos, the count has never gone over 0.
Ice, in this game, has a defensive property. Ice shield and the passive are like no other. Good element for the nuker, or the archer who has no shield nor extra hp (like the glaiver).
Str builds already do weak damage, adding ice will make you all the weaker, and as I have said to many other aspiring icers, what you save in hp pots, you will spend in mp pots. Ice in SRO is not an effective weapon.

A couple things to note, here. First a nuker and glaiver, really have no moves that cannot be cancelled with ice. Anti-freeze becomes detrimental to them. This is not the case with either the sword/blader and the archer.
Secondly, I had 50% ani-freeze on me before the new alchemy. The only difference is now I no longer have to wear jewelry 20-30 lvls lower than me. I still have an old ring I need to replace from the pre-alchemy days.
If you really want to know what killed ice more than anything, it was when autopots came around back in March or April.
