If you are a physical damage person, yes. If you are mostly magical damage, you might not want to spend the extra mana because you get the same % damage multiplier, just more physical damage.

if i were you, i wouldn't spend *too* many points raising this skill. i ended up delvling mine as the better attacks became available. at almost lvl40, the only spear skills i use at this point are the 3-hit combo, flying dragon spear, ghost spear, and soul spear. these attacks are similar in form to the first several but do more damage and can hit more targets. just my suggestino so you don't have to waste money and sp delvling the lower lvl skills later.

dem, i've been debating this as well. lemme know how this works out for you.

i would be into my 2nd book of soul spear (i LOVE the jump-bash-stun), but i'm keeping my masteries a few lvls low to help boost sp production for my force-related skills at present.

curious, dem: where are your masteries right now?

So is chain tiger not worth getting then? I heard it was one of the best skills o_o Saw a cool video of the last one too (hits 6 times), seems to do a ton of damage. Here's the video if you wanna see it.
