Hi there . i made a warrior/cleric char in silkroad r. and found out later that the bless spell and spells for higher magical defense cant be used when i switch my weapon. So basicly its for heal and ressurect you would choose cleric as secondary mastery?.
So my question is, is it worth it to keep the cleric mastery?
And do you have personal experience with warrior/cleric in silkroad R.
lvl 50 warrior/cleric
thebes
velicte

It isn't something new that the spells for higher physical/magical defence disappear when changing weapon (It is like that in both Isro and Sro-R).
That bless part is somewhat annoying but atleast they didn't nerf the bless itself, you can still use it for increased defence but can't attack expect with cleric rod.
1 more thing the Holy word/spell status immunity got decreased from 100% immunity to 50%.
So cleric isn't as good (op) as it used to be but it can still be somewhat helpful.
I guess you can only use Holy spell and (holy) recovery division while grinding.

okay. im quite new to silkroad. But i was sure that the bless spell worked while wielding warrior weapons back in the days
And starting to attack as a cleric when your focusing on warrior wont work xD
What would be a good mastery besides cleric ?

Bless still works while holding any weapon in Isro btw, but it got restricted in Sro-R to cleric rod.
Warrior/Warlock is a decent build and holy spell don't block its De-buffs 100% of the time anymore, It is now a 50-50 chance, could be more if you manage to land disease before de-buffing.

Basically, yeah. Warrior/Warlock is more of a pvp build than it is a pve build, though.

Warrior/Warlock is extremely fun in PvP. Been doing one for a while now.

The only advantage left for warrior/cleric while grinding is Recovery division and Holy word/spell (even if it is 50% it is still useful).
You got 5 weapons and a shield with Warrior/Rouge and it is extremly confusing (and expensive), only a few can master it.

cleric would still be a very good sub w/o bless...most of the warrior/clerics dont even use bless in 1v1..
