Which Chinese for 120cap - pvp only

Hi,

starting a new char and it's going to be my first capped chinese. Main focus lies on pvp, primarly group-pvp like jobcave or fortress war.

So which build would you choose and why?

*S/S Nuker full INT, light + cold

    *Spear Nuker full INT(hybrid?) light/fire + cold

*Blader full STR, fire + ?

*Glaive full STR, Force + Fire

    *None of the above

Would be nice, if you could just choose your favourite build for pvp and explain a bit why it's superior to the others in your opinion. :)

Glaive/Bow force char.

Quite the plan you got though, planning for 120 xD

Everyone will just vote for their own build probably.

I'm excited for my build. Bich gets a bunch of new skills including knockback now finally. In terms of pwning, probably some str build. Pure Str will always have the advantage due to the fact that the game design made hp to being critical to surviving. Since snow shield can't absorb abs dmg, ints will always be at a disadvantage. It takes 2 clerics to kill a pure int. It takes like 5-8 to kill a pure str with abs dmg. Vigors and a high BR can make a pure str near impossible to kill. Just in general, not even a specific build.

Pure str can tank while afk. Pure ints can't. Personally I like int chars just because they can die in 1-3 hits if they don't pay attention, but when played right, they could last for a hella long time.

I always think it's funny when I manage to last through 3+ snow shields. That's like, almost 10mins of non-stop attacks?

Hm, so right now I'm leaning towards Glaive/Force/Fire or Blade/Fire+x ... I'm still not quite sure though.

I was always thinking, that a blader can't kill well if he doesn't have top notch equipment.

And glaive seems to be a strong char, but maybe not the strongest chinese. He doesn't have "killer moves" like a strong nuke, a bowers high crit or a warriors dare devil.(?)

Any more infos and tipps would be highly appreciated. :)

Blade/Glaive/Fire dual weapon.

Not sure about that build though. I'd like to try it for the following reasons though:

-HP like a glaiver, still defence and block like a blader
-debuffs with bicheon chains --> switch to glaive and deal dmg
-lots of moves to interrupt the opponent (stun, knock back, knock down)
-blade combo's look quite good
-probably chinese tanker nr.1, not sure if it can kill though

There are some downsides too though:

-you'll need 2 good weapons and a good shield
-you'll need a hell lot of SP
-you'll have no speed and ghost walk --> you have to buy speed drugs

If i were to make a chinese, i'd like to try it, but it seems to be rather a pain to get this build until FF 110 or even FF 120 now and i am not sure, how good that build actually is. It will need a lot more SP than the average chinese, but it might be worth it. With good equip it should be quite hard to kill it.

Oh, and i came up with that build combination, because i like Bladers in general, but i don't think that lightning (speed only basically), cold (phy defence for a blader?) or force (you already have debuffs on the bicheon chains) is very usefull for a blader. So why not take a second weapon tree instead and profit more from that one. I picked glaive, because blade/bow/fire doesn't seem that strong for me.

But i am not really into playing chinese anyway. I prefer playing euro characters and pting up with my guild/union mates. My highest lv. chinese ever was lv.60 only.

I'm playing as a Fire/Cold Blader atm, and let me tell you. If you got prooper gear/weps, you're going to pwn almost everything. You've got so much def it's ridiculous :P

And glaive seems to be a strong char, but maybe not the strongest chinese. He doesn't have "killer moves" like a strong nuke, a bowers high crit or a warriors dare devil.(?)

Glaive is the highest hitting STR-CHN char. Their crits are higher than the crits of a bower, but fewer. Force Glaive is a really powerful build IMO.

Take whatever build you want.
Honestly if you actually do manage to go from 1 to 120 then pvp would be quite easy. All you need is money and great gear and a little practice with skills(which you will have a lot of by the time you reach cap.

No. You need Fire to be immune.

(Duh) But he asked if the build itself was immune ;) (Might I add that you also need FB acc's for that)

This guys on to something!

Nah, but it'll be the same as last cap - either a ss nuker (pure or hybrid), blader, and glaiver. I would prefer cold over force (Coz you're able to tank phys and mag), but yea. My fave build is glaive coz I get shitloads of hp.

I meant game mechanics-wise. Like in some other games, if you run out of hp OR mp, you die. Would make hybrids a much better choice for chinese, and would also make euros really need the bard to survive. I see warriors running out of mp sometimes during pvp if they cast healing orbit instead of cycle.
