I dislike force as any char with holy spell, especially if they're a warrior and have dual axes, make landing any debuffs rather difficult to do.
Though, if you get force it may come in handy during a guild war or fortress war, as you can help the cleric out with ressing, but I doubt that'll ever really be much of a advantage.
The first build is better all around in PvP and PvE as the whole "No speed" thing with force makes it suck to pve with. That, and snowshield is boss.
