i have been a while gone from SRO, in fact i'm still gone because i can't instal the shit :S yet
however, i'm already thinking about classes again and how are axes now a days, they look fine imho but how is hte gameplay with them. do they got any good skills in pve? (i dont really care about pvp)
do i have to run for giants without buffs of can i knock them down/stun/debuff etc. them and whoop their ass. imho it is to hard to find decent low lvl parties so i want to go alone, get myself an acc that can defend itself without all cleric buffs etc.
i dont want to sp farm actually, max 1 or 2 gap, really dislike farming.
is it possible and if, how is it possible what should i do? any opinions?
editand how is pure bard by the way, i would have to run for giants i suppose but do they have multiple nice dmg skills? cast / cooldown is fast isnt it,, but are there enough skills to set up a decent line of skills or?

You wont get far without sp.

Battle bards have instant casting nukes and 2 absolute damage skill but they aren't that powerful alone facing a giant .
you can have a sub wizard and only take fire nukes and the good earth ones which won't cost a lot of sp and are good at pve
OR
Take an ice nuke and a fire nuke and use them 1 2 1 2 1 2 , etc , they both have a 3 second cooldown and it takes 3 seconds to cast , so you can grind without pauses .

i am willing to run for giants because i think the cast time / cooldown is great. However i am worried they got enough dmg dealing skills to line up so i wont have to stop while grinding.
i have played low lvl bard, to my knowledge they have basic skill and booming chord (aoe). do i only got those dmg dealing skills (and their higher lvl forms) or do i get a 3rd (and 4th?) dmg dealing skill to get a nice casting line? 3rd would be atleast needed to get something going i think.

Solo barding is lame till like level 60. After level 60 you get another skill, and it's much easier.

Yes. They got Bleed and Stun which are very useful.

They're useful, when used with 1h or 2h. But I'm not sure how useful they are by themselves. Mainly because you very rarely ever see a warrior with just axes, so it's hard to tell how good they really are.

We had a dual-axe warrior in Asylum, but he quit

He was pretty darn good though.

It wouldn't happen to be MJ by any chance, would it? I believe that nab was pure DA on venus, but I'm not certain.

His name was Mike, that much I know. I guess I never asked his last name or initial.
