Do you think a 2:1 Hybrid 110huek/fire 60cold 50light does enough dmg to kill a glavier at this cap? A lot of people are telling me hybrids were good before but at this cap they just dont do enough dmg to kill glaviers which have something like 60k hp at this cap.

Pretty simple question even made a poll for the people who are to lazy to post

2:1 as in int:str?
I was wondering aswell, for 70:70 (close enough to 2:1), guess you just gotta play smart.

You can kill any build depending on your gear and your skill at pvp but you won't always win .

But i would suggest 1:5 str/int , or to go 85 % magical balance , Both are good tested builds .

Yea 2int and 1str per level and it comes out to be around 75% mag balance.

You'll do some nice dmg and got decent crits but I don't think it'll be enough to take down a glaive, especially if he uses vigors.

I added 8 lvls of str and the rest int. Right now I'm 41 and I have 85% Mag damage. Is that 1:5? :s Should I just keep the mag balance at 85% and add str as needed as long as I keep 85% or just continue adding int forever?

For spear it is better to not go less than 85% - 90% int balance .

so that's 8 str:32 int

32/8=4 so that's 1:4 atm.

It will do enough dmg, but the question is wether u will kill him before he kills u.

indeed. Chances are they will all just fall flat on the ground before you even put up snowshield

u clearly have been pvping the wrong ppl tas
anyways, it depends if u wanna be a gay hybrid = uhh, i'm hybrid but i can't really tank for shit, i just decided i'd lose some damage for some hp that won't even help me survive more (85+mag bal) or if you wanna be a steel balls hybrid spear who has sexy crits and awsome damage, plus the tanking abilities are quite better now (77-83% mag bal)

I'm at 89% mag balance and I plan to stay at 90% no less than that

why the hell do you even give up int points for less than 2 k hp?..

Because at the beginning I really planed in being more hybrid, like something that would give me way more than 2k, but then I changed my mind

Yeah I agree, if your going to go hybrid at least make it hybrid enough for the hp > lost damage.
Loseing damage for an extra k or 2k on the HP bar just isn't worth it IMO...
