Hybrid Spearman

Hey guys,

I've recently developed an interest in Chinese characters.. and would like your opinion on the following:

Currently farming a Hybrid Spear 50% STR 50% INT
Mastery of Spear 100, Fire 100, Force 100 <--- That's the target of what I want

I checked out how much Skill Points I'll need and that's just over 1,300,000 sp...

It sure is a special build but what is your focus with it? Fast lvling? Jobbing? Pvp? Uniques?

I'm not so familiar with the stat points anymore but 50/50 means it's either a very hybrid str, or an uber heavy hybrid int. In the first case the dmg will suck balls without the force debuffs so I don't think it will work out if you were focussing on group pvp/jobs/arena etc. If it's the heavy hybrid int it will need pretty much maxed Light to up the damage, something that won't be really fixed with force for the same reasons as the hybrid str.

Ok, before I even posted that ^ I checked some stat calculator. You will have 75/65 naked balance at 100, so that would be like 85/75 with good gear? I think my first statement still applies then, way to hybrid to function properly.

Thanks for the reply.. added a viewpoint I didn't check out yet..

But the main focus of this char is actually to plvl people to graduation mostly.. i want to get Honor Weapons :p

Now, im thinking screw the hybrid spear.. and switch it up to pure str Bow/fire/force.. would you recommend Force in that equation? I don't really like light or cold to be honest..

To plevel I'd think if you were going chinese you'd want a pure int nuker. to kill the fastest?

Yeah, if you focus on plvl get a spear and light/fire/ice and just nuke/shout away at low lvl party mobs xD

eh i don't really see that build surviving long in pvp tbh. If your going for pve tho or grp pvp then it might help i guess.
