So atm im farming a chin char at Ksro and i just wanted to get some inputs on what build to chose.
At i was planning on making a build ive been thinking of for a while, a hybrid s/s but not a regular one. i wanted to make one that didnt depend on snow. so it would have been full int till ~94 then full str till 110 and this would give me around a 87% mag balance naked. The forces is where the build is a little different, i was gunna take 110 bich/fire,60 cold,50 light thus it having the strongest nukes and imbue plus the lighting buff and some phy def/snow if needed.

So im just asking for some input on that build or some opinions on other builds. I was also thinking about making a either a force blader or just the regular fire/cold blader.


Note* this is on Ksro and probably 90% of the server is euro.

Yea, trying to find a non-snow dependent int build w/ a mag bal over 85% is like trying to find a Leprechaun's gold ...it's just not going to happen unless you're in full SoSun+7 against normal +3 gear ppl, and even then, there's a few builds that could still take you out ...lol

I'd take the Force Blader, but solely because I had one back on Venus and enjoyed it more than another Blader I had on Oasis (fire, cold, bicheon) ...

So change of plans, my friend gave me his really old char a pure int 67 s/s with 844k sp bich/fire/cold/light

so i have to dlvl something, either go pure int bich/fire/cold---bich/light/cold
or my hybrid idea 110 bich/fire 60 cold and 50 light.

so what do you guys think i should do?

well i am playing sro since 4 years, and before euro update came, it was possible to have a nuker without snowshield. why it shouldnt be possible now ?

if you can play your char well, its possible to do that. even without snow. with skilled snow shield u need to fight 1 minute without snow when the 2 minutes are over. this requires playerskill but its definively possible (i am playing a nukers since 2 years and i can play w/o snow too)

At 90+ any decently skilled warrior will 1hit you without snow, if you wear armor maybe not but then wizards and other nukers will poop on you. Archers and glaives wont need more than 2 or 3 skills for you.

Well maybe it's possible if you have sun/nova+9 or higher gear and a shield of the same with maxed br.

At first it was possible because there was no alchemy, then when alchemy came ints became alot less powerfull and snowshield was introduced to even it out. Take it from me, I've been here since before autopot/item mall/alchemy and all that shit.

i got a friend in mercury (i am only 81 there) at lv 109 4:1 spear hybrid, he can tank warrior without snow. both with nova weaps and set. saw it few times now.

4:1 is a pretty heavy hybrid though, im not even sure if it worth it to use nukes at that ratio...

thats the other question...ok he lvls lower then other nukers (sry for my bad english ^^) but it rocks on pvp. i played it when he was on vacation and i just decided to get the same build.
if you wanna give it a try, do it. its unique, does alot of fun in playing, and its not bad at all :p
but i can understand if you dont wanna take this risk

Pure ints could tank alright without snow (since there wasn't one) before the euro update purely for 1 reason: Skills weren't updated (pre-euro)

I remember my bro doing a job war before the Legend I update (pure int s/s fire, light, bicheon), he could tank alright (mainly glaivers) in a full +4 ~ +5 full blued Protector set .... after the update happened, couldn't tank some of the same people for shit ...lol

Nukers is a general term for ints, hybrid or not ;P

Or atleast pure/slightly hybrid, the 4:1 your friend has isn't a nuker anymore.
