Euro Wiz/Cleric or Chinese Bow?

Post by matriceqc »

Hi,

I started to farm a Euro Wiz/Cleric... I'm at lvl 20 with 17k SP and I figued out how much SP I would need...

Then I noticed in PVP that a lot of STR bower was quite strong and this build cost 50 to 70% less SP to make! (110/110/80/20)

My question is :

Is it worth to keep playing with my Wiz/Cleric or I should keep grinding my level 10 STR bower at ong with plvl?

Thank you

Depends on your playing style.

Euro's are more for partying, although then can solo.

Chinese chars are soloing beasts.

A str bow is the better PvP choice. But a good wiz/cleric who knows what he's doing is a force to be reckoned with.

Also, do you prefer tanking longer but doing less damage. Or doing insane damage but being "squishy"?

Well I use to thief with a STR glaive (yeah cap was lvl 80 at that time...) and I loved it!

My problem is that I feel like solo'ing a Wiz/Cleric will be a huge pain due to the mastery/equipment problem.

I had a s/s nuker in the past...kinda liked it due to high damage nuker and viability. I like the High damage of the Wiz/Cleric but I feel like it's either one shot or one shotted... not much you can do in job wars with that char cauz he'll get own in group..

Bow seems to have better chance to survive and has great crits... but rely on equipment to be really strong!

If you love playing str glavie so much, why not do it again? In the end it comes down to what build you'll be willing to stick with for a year + or however long it takes to cap.

As a general rule though, chinese chars are less gear dependent the euros. So even if you go with str bow, gear shouldn't be that big of a deal. Skill > Gear. Any day.

*unless of course it's like a +9 full nova set, lol*

well I feel like a Bower will ask less SP then a glaive and STR char are more a pain than INT character.. the range or the bower make it a little bit less pain in the %$@ to level!

Do what you think is best. There are no right or wrong builds if you have fun with what you made. Although I would not recommend making a char just on the fact that it takes low sp.

actually glaive needs less sp.
that aside, as a bower all you need is good protective equipment, a bow with high crit and you're about done.

leveling speed:
if you find a place with a high spawnrate where you can 1 hit monsters ( 3-6 lvls lower than our own), there won't be much of a difference between glaive or bower

anyway..
wizard is easiest
for leveling, and partying
you'll have to hide yourself in a group for "effective" pvp
1vs1: bless, earth barrier and nuke

Archer needs just over 1.25mil sp for pacheon.
Glaiver needs just over 1.2mil sp for heuksal.

That is for the essential skills, ofcourse you could add alot more.
