I am a pure str glaive, lvl 59 almost in cave(finally lol)

My skills right now are:

59 Heuksai
45 Fire
30 Light
10 Pancheon

I have every usefull skills maxed and 8k of sp left
So i need help in what to do now, i use protector, but i saw alot of glaivers with armors for the cave and with the cold buff
Should i put fire on 52 to get the +3%¨off phy damage or put in cold to get more def since everyone says that mobs in cave hits hard?
Im grinding on devil yetis right now and they hit very low on me, cave is too different?

eventually i will get both ice and fire, what i want to know is whick one should i get first

i for one have never been in the cave since im not 50 yet, but id reccomend going with ice imbue and the def buff while youre in there. it seems more logical. but maybe a higher lvl can answer this better

you force skill's are only 45 and 30? wow, your really lacking in the buff area. imo you should grind ton's of sp, and really raise your light/fire to 59, you will be a ton better.

only on 45 and i grind on yetis since lvl 57 without any problem
in this game the only buffs that work is +speed
the others are crap.

1. Your masteries are too low versus your level. Don't understand why you don't raise fire at least

2. Grinding at the (M)Ugiji must be awfully boring at lv57. I'm grinding them since 43 and, being 50, I'm seriously fed up with the big monkeys Why don't you grind on shades or Penon warriors ?

3. Last, but not least your sig is to be updated

he's grinding yeti
at lv 55 I still had lv 44 fire. I only got 45 imbue at 57. The first book only matter, later additions don't do shit

i recommend reading this topic should help you enough on what skills to chose when your sword/shield nuker

yetis are lvl 60...

I saw a glavier tank a giant, a champ and a lot of bugs yesterday. He had no ice buff and was in garments. IMO get fire buffs so you will kill faster and level faster.

my guildmate, at lvl 54, being a nuker, with all his buff's, was destroying yeti's without a problem. if you think the buff's are useless, then you can be a fool and continue to suck.

go try to pvp anyone your lvl, that actually has his buff's. you will see how important they are.

Your argument proves nothing about the buff. Maybe your friend is a good player, nothing more.

I can kill pure INTs and pure STRs at 1vs1 and dont have the buff. A lot of people from this forums alredy saw me PvPing and can tell you that. I could kill Yetis since level 49 with my masterys at 43 cauz i was farming. Yetis are slow and very easy to kill.

Im not saying the buff is uselles. But ice buff is overrated. People thinks they will become godly or something if they have the ice buffs and that is not truth. A glavier alredy can tank well so why not get more damage buffs first? =p

i entered in cave to test
tanked 3 mobs and killed they before my hp come to half
so easy...

cold and light buffs are useless

I agree that the ice buff isn't really needed but the light buff useless? That's a good one

Lightning buff may be useless to you, but it's a nuker's best friend. Ice buff, if you actually get it to a high level can help you tank a bit more.

i mean the parry buffs on light are useless

Just wear armour, see how that goes first. If you die think about the buffs more.

Armor+Pure Str in cave=no need for Ice Buff. I died once due to lag in cave with garm, so I got a set of armor, and I've never died with it.
