lightning imbue or fire imbue

is it better to get fire or lightning imbue for pure str fire/lightning? i read that lightning decreases parry ratios and stuff and fire burns? so which one is betteR?

Fire does burn and gives reduced damage, however Lightning hits the other monster that you are fighting at that time, so that you can kill two at the same time (which I have done)

Originally I was cold, but switched to lightning and never looked back.

Actually fire deals the highest average damage of all of the elements, It has been argued that lightning deals similiar damage due to its ability to reduce parry.

The buffs for lightning are critical for int characters as is grasswalk, while a strength character will rely on physical buffos of fire.

Personally I go for max damage, but alot of the answer will depend on your build. Nukers typically have both lightning and fire nukes.

Lightning does also pass damage to nearby monsters, then again you could just do ghost petal and kill both of them.

Fire does more dmg, the 3rd book of fire's burn damage is in the triple digits.
