Ok, so I read a few guides for a Pure STR Bower, and some of them mentioned "Piercing force" (so the buff that increases magical attack with a certain %), that I should take it. But what's the point in having magical attack increase, when you're pure STR? I'm not really into Chinese builds yet, so I might miss something out, but it doesn't really make sense to me.

Imbues have mag atk pwr -> higher dmg with imbue with the lite buff on.

You forgot to mention it's completely useless for a str character.

the mag atk buff doesnt do a huge difference for a str char, but it still helps a bit

I'm confused. One says it's useless for Pure STR, one other says it's good with Imbue?

try to hit with and without imbue, u'll see it does increase ur dmg even being full str

It's like taking flame body on a pure int. Increases ur dmg by like 100-300 dmg...

If you are in sp need spend it on other stuff first (grass walk/ghost walk/passive/parry)

I'm not really in SP need, I'm playing a 4 gap, if I see I'm coming short of SP, I'll just open it to 5 gap, no problem Was just wondering if I should drop it, but now it seems it has its usefulness, I'll keep leveling it

both str and int chars use both phys and mag.

a str char uses imbue which is mag., and like it was mentioned above try hitting with and without imbue, there is a difference

an int char also use phys, when using weapon skills(bich/huek/pacc) some dmg is still phy., im an int spear, and flame body does incerase my dmg even though its a phys atk increase

ofc its different, int chars dont crit as hard and str chars dont hit as high, but there is a differnece even if its opposite of wat u r

not rly.. max both flame body and lvl 11 passive, total 22% phy dmg increase. a pure int's crits will be worthfully higher

as long as it helps you kill, any buff is fine

PHY DMG inc, not mag. It only increases the dmg you deal without ur imbue. The total dmg inflicted is phy dmg + mag dmg, hence the dmg only rockets up when imbue is on for an int.

The 22% would help u prob hit like 500 more dmg tops. Just take whatever value u get when u crit without imbue, multiply by 1.22, than add in the imbue dmg. Imbue dmg would be attack dmg when imbue is on - attack dmg when imbue is off. U'll see it's pretty darn big.

And it's my point that it helps about as much as a lvl 1 black hawk. I've pvped and grind with the buff on and off, and there's no diff. The dmg is the same, at times i might hit like 6250 instead of 6150 during a pvp... woot. that 100 dmg will def make or break in a pvp with ppl having 50k+ hp now.

Magical attack increase is only useless for European STR chars.
