Now let's see what I've got.
Lvl 42 full int
Lvl 42 SoS +4 spear
Full set armor +2 - +3
+27 Int (still more work to do)
Fire/Light/Cold/Force skills at 33 (deleveling some of them)

Ghost walk + 1 nuke + 1 lion shout killing Bunwangs getting 274 SP per kill without double xp scroll. I gain 240SP per hour which is a very good rate IMO (still more work to do) . I gain about 25% less than a Bandit Den farmers with SoS +3 bow killing archers with 2 shots.
With a scroll and a monkey I believe I can get 600SP per hour. I think that the farming at lvl 16 is way too boring and the den is overcrowded to be able to farm effectively.

With a scroll and monkey a farmer in the den can get about 1k per hr that's about all I can say.

Yeah but at lvl 16 you do nothing. At least at lvl 42 you can collect enough money for later use (for example sos weapon at 52 or even 64). And you can always thief or hunt or something else to chill.

have u managed to do that? a lot of ppl talk and not everyone tried and achieved it

Bandit Archers are the most effective farm, but also the most boring.

1k an hour is possible but you need - - -
SOS + 3 bow or better
Ton of MP pots for constant imbue use
NO KSers

What are the odds really?

1k sp per hour with GT and MONKEY is 100% possible
even if there are thoes DICKS 'ksing' ur archer spawn
i do an average of 1.2k per hour with GT and one hitting the archers

farmin at the den is way borin...
well overcrowded...
i farmed 25k SP at lvl 16...
got 45k SP now at lvl 38 =D
& plannin toO do what Vase is doin & farmin at 42...i'll see you soon Vase =D

BTW firestorm, with a weapon like that, why aren't you doing either spiders/devils north of hotan or mujigis? Both mobs have much better spawn rates, closer together are 1-6 levels higher, and should be in the neighborhood of 300 spxp/kill.

agreed....

actually i tried a lvl16+0 bow i got from npc and i could farm quite properly...

pots arent a problem, all ur invenotry is full of pots

no KSers --> thats the main problem i found there, and the reason that changed more my sp farming speed

Yeah I have, I farmed about 55k of sp in the den within a month playing 3 hrs a day without a ticket.

It's pretty much a average of 500 sp without a ticket in the den per hour provided you get a good spot without anyone in your area messing up your rhythm.

I think that 600SP at lvl 42 is better than 1000SP at lvl 16.
There are some of my reasons.

1. I can switch monsters. I can fight from Red-eyed Ghosts to White Spiders without losing any SP/Hour rate.

2. I can earn money. I manage to get about 1 mil per day.

3. I can thief, hunt, trade if I'm bored.

With the money I get from farming it will be easier for me in the future. The game is all about fun right?

yea, am using bs bow atm, not THAT bad, it is a little slower when u get alot of people ks'ing you coz they can1 shot, and you cant

It probably is better to farm at 42 and get 600 sp than 1000 sp at lvl 16, the elements you get from monsters is another deciding factor and let's not forget the red eye ghost drop the very needed wind 2 that everyone wants in mass quantities. You're going to need alot of wind 2 for lvl 8 tabs...I know I'm out
