how vital is embune to str build? I know fire is very important to a str build, but does the embune actually help that much?

It’s imbue, but we all know what you mean anyway.

Yes it actually does. As you can see for yourself when you attack a mob with imbue. And compare that to your attack damage without imbue. It’s critical for int-based chars. And very handy for str-based chars. For this reason: it adds extra damage. At least enough damage to always use your imbue. I’ve had a pure strength blader before this char, and my imbue helped allot. Keep it updated.

for me it's ~ 20 % dmg increase. No buff in the world that's gonna overpower that..

You can still kill a monster without imbue, but ti will take longer. Not much longer but longer.

By using imbue you kill a monster faster.

Lightning also is a good choice, as it can damage what else is hitting you at the time. With a berserk and lightning, I have killed monsters, with just the splash damage while going nuts on a giant

Id your glaive you could just use ghost spear.
