i started this char back in the 70 cap and then quit somewhere are level 40 and then restarted again during the 100 cap then quit for a short time and now restarting him now. I'm level 72 int hybrid the exact int:str ratio i have no idea any more over the times of me quitting he got a bit messed up so my first question is what is a good int:str ratio there is no way i can go str hybrid but i can make a solid int hybrid. My skills are Bich/Cold/Lit. i use the character for everything from grinding/pvp/trading/unique hunting. so he is an all around char and i like his skills where they are but if needed i will do the heart quest to replace them.

Make sure your char is totally naked. No weps/gear/accessory/avatar suits/GDF's etc. Then hit C and give us your str/int (make sure to remove the 3 or 10 str/int from the prem if you got one. We can figure out your balance then and how you should lvl up.

Most common build is 1:7/8/9 str:int builds, I guess you could go like 7 seeing you got the Light mastery.

i took everything off and without the prem add ons and i have 117 str : 278 int and im lvl 72 so what would that break down too?

You start off with 20 of both at lvl 1, you're now 72, which means you've got 91 just with leveling.

So you added:
26 str
187 int

Which is about 7:1 if I'm right.

Total of 213 stat points, divided by 26 (so you will get the amount of int for every str point) gives 8.19 so it's about a 1:8 build atm.

I'd go 1:7 or 1:8 and get a 110 Bich/Light, 90 Ice, 20 Fire build.

Correct me if I am wrong but as far as I know it is better to use spear if you are hybrid int? You already have pretty high HP so u don't need a shield that much and spear has higher phy att pwr so you can hit higher to your opponents.

Yeah but the mag dmg will be lower and that is still the main dmg form for a 1:7-9 hybrid int. With bicheon you get stats (bleed/division) which will increase the damage. If he was going to be a 1:5 or something then yes, he'd be better off with spear.

ok so make a 1:8 str:int build and then why would i put 20 into fire? just for the buffs? wouldnt it better to have a 110 cold and get higher snow? and how did you get that 8.19 into a 1:8 ratio?

20 Fire for the Fire Shield, then get 20% reduce for every status on every accessory part and you're immune. It's not needed but I hate getting frostbite or burn or what ever so meh.

I did 213/26=8.19 By doing 213/26 you will find out how many int points you spend for every str point. Which is 8.19 and that translate to a 1:8 str:int build

ok i understand now do i rele need the fire tho cause ill just use pills cause id rather have a insane snow shield.

Well being hybrid I doubt you can keep up the ~63% snow you get but no, it's not really needed, it's just goddamn annoying to get your attacks canceled.

gotcha how good is a 1:8 build? will it hold up in pvp and grinding and everything else i use this char for everything

Well, the biggest point is your gear and if you have silk items. Having a decent build (read farmed build) is one thing, but you wont get far nowadays with a +3 set and +5 weps.

yeah im gonna buy a full sos 9th d protector set all +5 or higher and FB then i already got the sword and shield shield is just +7 FB but sword is sos +6 FB so with all that gear and my 1:8 will i have a decent build?

Add a decently farmed build, yes you will do fine.

yeah my guy isnt farmed with me quiting twice and restarting farming never came to mind right now im gapped and im gonna try to farm myself at 76 but not sure how thats gonna work out wish i woulda farmed him a long time ago. probly gonna try and sell of the gear i got ready for 9th d and pay for a plvl once i hit 76 ill have 9 gap and can pay them to farm for me basicly or just hold 9 gap at 76 till i have all the sp i need. times like this make me hate botters they got it so easy click a button and they farm their lower chars and can walk away.
