Smashing of Sword DAnce?

should i get hte smashing or sword dance series? does any of these have more benefits than the other?

smashing series is good for the low mp cost and the pretty good dmg it gives - its good if you want to have that bit of damage to finish up or chain combos. Sword dance is your 2nd AoE skill. Its good to mass kill low lvls and such. if you really want it, i would say wait and only max book 2 to save sp. Combine this with book 2 of KD and you can probably farm pretty efficiantly.

I find smashing series pretty ineffective in PvP personally, Heaven chain then repeating Book 2 KD, Stab, Jump Stab over again usually manages the job fine because the damage addition of 1-3rd book smashing series isnt all that great nor is it particularly fast.
Sword dance series is pretty good for luring many mobs for mass kills (albeit a glaiver trait, it works good for white mobs).

Smashing series: Not to be used in PVP. But for PVE it’s in my opinion quite usefull as an attack to start of with. It has quite good damage so. On my blader I took it to the second book. Just try it, see if you like it.
Sword dance: Best ranged skill you got, take it.
