when to stop sp farming?

I have been sp farming since I started, not real hard core since I wanted my first lvl skills to help kill faster.. I am getting closer to lvl 18 now with 2900SP.. I am a blade user with full str and lvl 9 mastery in blade/Fire/force.
Starting to get real bored with this SP grinding and slow lvl gain.. thinking of going more xp soon.. maybe 4 lvl dif. Is about 3k SP safe enough to move on now or should I really gather up more SP first? I plan to work on 3 areas, blade/fire/force.
Also which are the better skills to go for in this trees? also I am going for force as well so can heal my self find it much more cost effective then constant healing pots, can get in several heals per mana and res is another nice bonus.
I am pure PvE, at least for now but im sure get into some PvP later on

I wouldn't worry about force. A pure str blade user is going to run out of mp LONG before he runs out of HP. Plus as you level the amount of MP required to heal you effectively will make the heal spells pretty much worthless (why take 3 mana pots just to heal yourself to full?) I can't go against anyone wanting to take rez, however, because I love rezzers so mcuh.
For a sword user I'd SAY embue+chain attack, but since you are str, the embue is pretty much worthless at pretty much 19+. Get the knockdown/hit when down skills which I believe you get at the next level. basic fire protection and the two passives from those keys will help you immensely.
Other than that, just see which skills you'd like the most. Idon't THINK there's any worthless skills in the sword tree (-cough-spinning sword-cough) so just take the ones that look nice and be sure to keep them high.

Don't take Castle Shield whatever you do, it's worthless. Gives physical damage resistance while active, but you cannot move or do anything while it's active and it drains your mana fast as long as it's on. The only possible use it could have would be the 3rd version of it at high level might have large enough resistance to tank endgame bosses really well... but a monster will attack the person who deals it the highest damage, so if youcan't hold aggro the skill is even more worthless.

That would be nice, you can max out almost everything and use whichever weapon you want.

Thanks all, going to scrap force and just put that SP into something more useful.. So far going for chain attack series + knockdown, in fire tree have fire force, flame devil & will be going for flame body & prob flame protection as well guessing worth while for mobs magic skill attacks? as havent seen to many mobs actually use magic attacks basicly just them turtle shrubs.
decided to keep going for more SP (7lvl dif) till I reach 5k then more xp
I am on Athenes, so it would be nice to reach 20+ and practice a trader while there is less thiefs about

30,000 skill points is the most you can have at any one time.

In the screen, it says the person is gaining way more exp than sp. Odd?

I did say wrong. Hes... 29 Probobly didnt remember off the top of my head.
Hmmm... well, it looks like he got 634 (off top head!) for earth ghost, which is level 28 or so. Whats the average for that - 900?
Looks like he already increased his masteries too; this SS could be AFTER he earned the SP's.
Or, it could be photoshopped to hell.

I think you can have more than 30k SP, but I think that 30k is enough to max out your masteries without having to sp-farm again, that's probably why the koreans do it.

the koreans say : if you want to be powerfull you will need to get the maximum ammount of sp and from there the sp you'll get will be enough till lvl 80 , thus we will need around 15-17k

Well I took a look and he definitely didn't copy the 8 over and move the 3 to the side, so either it's edited some other way, or that classic option where I'm wrong.

He could have copied the 8 from another screenshot which is why the color in
both the 8's doesn't match. Just a thought.

i think the best way to SP farm (so you dont get bored) is to geta 9 level difference, sp farm til you reach the next 2 levels, then raise masteries to about 2 below your level. That way you have new skills and you level faster. then build the 9 level difference again and repeat.. makes it alot funner than me. if i had kept farming i'd probably be lvl 19 now instead of 24 -_-

not necessarily... since he has so much sp stored, perhaps he increased his masteries so there is no longer a difference

So...what's the ideal number?
I saw someone write 15k-17k, but I couldn't really understand the context...
