I know that this topic has been opened millions time!!
But i know that they are dead.
I am currently farming a chinese character. I didnt add any SP.
I want it to be a force character. So Which is better??
Force Glavier or Force Bower. Please Say Why. And if possible add a video of each PVE and PVP. Add your sources if possible,

just out of curiosity, are you going to be fire/light/ or ice for the last mastery?

I would choose Force glavie,

Because of the heksual skills they got more hp then any other character at silkroad:)

Force Archer > Force Glaive, It's just too easy as an archer to use force using dual kb. A glaive might have more hp but with the insane crits of an archer other people have no chance.

Then wht would be the perfect build for a glavier??

I'd prefer 110 Fire/Ice but 110 Fire/90Light/20Ice will work as well.

Go glaiver, atleast you wont be like the 80% of the server, that would make you unique.

True, i see bowers everywhere and there are bowers pfarming everywhere. Bow doesn't need as much skill as a glaive. 2x kb skill and ur close range enemy won't be able to do anything. -.-
And yeah, go glaive. I will start with my force glaive soon too. But i must decide if i'm gonna stop farming with 160k sp and start gapping before 60 or stick with free pfarming.

He asks for opinions and I happen to have a 100 Force Archer which was strong so yes I choose for the Archer. How is that advertising? He's asking for my opinion.

I tried a bower until lvl 48 on ECSRO.
It was awesome and everything.
BUT, I wanna try something new. I want to show the world that no matter how little you are in 1 thing, you are a beast in another!!
Well, the Glavier is like a beast everywhere !! xD

I wouldn't go for Force Glavier cus I don't like chars without mobility:
Force Glavier lacks phantomwalk
Force Bower also lacks phantomwalk but it's ranged so there won't be any problems.

Imagine how a forceglavier could kill a non stop KB+firewall bower.
Furthermore they are weaker than usual glaviers ( 110 heuksal , 110 fire, 90 light 20 cold ) if they aren't able to debuff their
enemies.

I would go Forcebower instead cus it's ranged and it crits a lot.

If you don't wanna make a bower then I suggest you going.

Some may think that I'm telling rubbish, cus this build also lacks phantomwalk like the Forceglavier build.
The difference is that Cold Glavier has a much higher phy defence than the Force Glavier, which means that it can tank better => bower can't only rely on their 5. and 6. noob combos.

Hybrid 10:1 is also a nice cus you can use a better snowshield ( 30% instead of 20%).

hybrid cus otherwise you won't be able to use snowshield against decent ones.

Pure str's aren't meant to made into str hybrids, not even a 10:1 ratio.

imo 10 ints for glavier or bower is usefull ... otherwise they cannot use their snow ( unless if that player has SoN/Sun parts )

Wrong. Of course they can use their snow, it helps bladers and glaivers tank. There is no need for any levels to go into int. A reasonable+3 - +4 set will cover that. You are making the char weaker for what, like maybe 2 more moves ? Yes, I know, that could be the difference between winning and losing, but still, not worth it.

bladers can use their snowshield cus they have a shield => enemy makes lower damage on them = no mp problems with snowshield.

But glavier and bower will have mp problems with +5 set etc...

I've played one 9:1 ( at 10D) and that char did very well in dmg and in tanking with +5/6 set.

I once also thought that 9:1 would be bad but since I tried such a char I can suggest other people who cannot afford SoN equipment parts etc. to put 10 lvls on INT ( works only good with glaviers and bowers )

If hybrid bowers and glaivers are that good, why is everyone full str ? You CAN tank fine with snow shield on a glavei an bow. Bow especially, because of the kb, and even better if you have force, which you probably wouldn't, because of the 3k mp increase passive.

I have a 100 archer and he tanked fine with silver prem/devil/+5 garm set/20 ice (20% snow) against other str chars, nukers weren't a problem either with kb/fire wall. Yes it's a force char but impotent doesn't always work.

I would rather lack Ghost Walk for Force instead of ice.

Well.. if your MP won't run out then it's good to stay full str

well after reading most of the comments (kinda skimmed trough)
but i prefer a bow with force... if u go patch/fire/force all 110 then u can save urself from dieing (most of the time) with KB but if u go glavie with no snow (snow= glavie110/90fire(or 80 fire)/20 cold) then u can get hit 24/7 (unless u stun, but u dont stun 100% everytime) so i feel like bower has higher advantages...PLUS bowers are made to do serious damage with crits so picking force is giving u some insane crits (of course at higher lvls....dont go pvping at lvl 30 with force and then coming here complaining it sucks xD)

idk which server you guys are on, but I dont see bowers everywhere. If he was on my server, and was included in that "80%" of server you mentioned, he'd be a turk wiz =P
As for the topic, I feel bow works very nicely, because it can only take 1 or 2 crits to kill when someone is debuffed with force, and bow has ALOT of crits. What else do you need?
