Ok, first of all, i used the search button

ok, now for FIRE SHIELD, is it even usefull?
also, i dont understand exactly wat it does, this is wat i think it does,

If im poisined, and it hits me 16 dmg, with fire shield, it wud hit me less?

am i right? O_o


also, for SP farming, my mastery is lvl 8 in bicheon, fire, and force. If my force MASTERY was 7, wud that effect ANYTHING? i read that only the HIGHEST mastery is wat counts, and im pretty sure that my force is 5 or 8, it doesnt matter, bcuz my fire is alrdy 8. correct me if im wrong =P

I think fire shield reduces duration as well as effect, though I may be wrong on that.

Yes, that's right, your force can be anything less than or equal to 8 and it won't affect your gap.

I'm not sure abt whether fire shield will reduce the duration. But, the effect dmg will definitely be less.

Other way around, same damage, less duration.

i thought damage and duration went hand and hand?

if your burnt it does X damage every 2 seconds for X total seconds...

if you use fire shield (lets say it says 12 effect reduce)

the fire then would do X - 12% damage every 2 seconds for X - 12% total seconds...

i read on another thread that they tested fire shield and they found out that it was a percentage not a solid number...

I just lowers the duration of the abnormal state.

It can be usefull, it can go up to what is it? 78% reduce? This would help you greatly on your way to becoming immune for some abnormal state.

Guides are only the opinion of the author on how it should be, it doesn't have to be yours.

if it says it reduces 10 duration of the spell then it in fact reduces 10 [b]%[/]
so you only need like 60 % reduce on rings and then 40 stats reduce from fire shield.
