I'm currently level 52 and I already have some points in int, so i have the choice of going 80:80/70:70 or a STR hybrid but can't choose...

had both,

the str hybrid is the best overall character for me in the game on the chinese side
(i had a 5:1 hybrid with 100 bow\fire 70 light 30 ice and prot.... it was awesome)

the 80:80 is more of a party player unless you take ice at least 60, then you will do pretty well in everything as well.

having played a 5:1,70:70 and 1:5... i would say all are about equal.

5:1 excells in pvp and can tank while grinding in parties,
at least +3 garm/prot needed and +5 weapon for good damage and enough protection

70:70 is a good damage dealer that can survive enough to be good at pvp and pve
around +4 on the set and weapon is good for adequate protection

(1:5 is like a turret throwing around death
+4/5 equip would be enough, a +5 bow suffices to kill almost anything your lvl)




with all the crit attacks and good attack % multipliers, the str hyb. would be a good option.

Thanks I guess I will go STR hybrid, hopefully I wont turnout to be that bad.

go light hybrid - add maximum 11points int.
if you will be 80:80 , 70:70 , you couldnt tank without snowshield. but your damage will be really nice.

fire is superior to light for such a hybrid
any str hybrid above 3:1 can go 100fire/bow 80 light 20 ice without problems.
