hybrid int 2:1 heuksal 100/ fire 100/ lightning 60/ cold 40 and wearing protector.

will the snow shield at level 40 be enough? and most people say that the chains are a total waste of sp but my friend has a pure int spear and he uses chains and he is actually pretty good.for pvp he uses mainly SSE, nukes, chains and ghost spear and his set isnt really good (+3/4 with some blues) but he does really well at pvp. oh btw he's level 96. and when he grinds he uses chains and they have really good dps so should I just listen to the majority and skip them or should i add them?

so basically just answer to these 4 questions:
1. is the snow shield at lv 40 enough?
2. if I should add chains and why or why not.
3. what you think of the build in general ( for grinding, pvp, job war, unique hunting etc)
4. is protector the best choice for this build? or would garment or armor be better?

and please dont just say: man this build sux your gonna get pwned and blablabla, tell me your opinion and tell me why this build would or wouldn't work well

1. lvl40 snow is a bit low for a nuker but then again you are 2:1 hyb int.
2. Only take the chains if you have the sp. I almost never used my chains in pvp / pve.
3. I think you should go more int. Witch 2:1 you will have a hard time in pvp and grinding will go a bit slower. As a spear I would suggest 5:1.
4. Pro is the best since you got mag def from fire and low phy def from cold.

My opinion is go with 5:1 int and cold like minimum lvl60.

1. as a 2:1 it should be enough, you don't have much mp so if you get it any higher you won't be able to use any skills and be a sitting duck in job wars. using a spear means you always get damaged so your mp will be drained pretty quickly. although in pvp the snow shield works pretty well. just keep the mp% above 75% and you will be fine.

2. nah, chains are pretty useless imo. they do hit alot of times but DPS is NOT high, just playing it safe with stun and heuksal series + ghost spear should be fine (do get that last glaive throw skill, it's the best skill this cap).

3. i played a 2:1 at 80 cap and at pvp it did quite well, i was a 80 heuk/fire/light 60 ice. for pvp it will be a super tank with snow shield on, you have fairly high hp and your heuksal skills hit very high. in job wars the char doesn't do very well. if you get ganged 2 or 3 people you're gonna die pretty quickly, with a high snow shield your mp will be completely drained, most of the time you will be running with shield on waiting for your mp to refill. in pve it's quite fast, if you have a nice enough weapon you can nuke+GS with the build, if not SSE+GS should do the trick.

4. if you're going for 40 ice, go prot. if you get 60 ice or higher for a higher snow shield then you should probably go garment to reduce mp consumption.

if i could pick a hybrid spear it would be 5:1 100 heuk/fire/ice in garms.
