just wondering. what job would you recommend a beginning player. I have a 2h swordsman.

None keep grinding. If you want you can go trader from 20-39 doing 1*'s..At 40 and up you won't be safe from player thieves, even with a 1*.

To participate successfully in a job war, you really need to be at least level 95, but at your level, I recommend being a trader until level 40, and doing only 1* trades.

Adding to that, after 40 you can do trades but it's very very difficult if you don't have high stealth ability, luck, or if there are more than 8 active lvl 100 thieves on your server. See picture below for how 8 lvl 100 thieves(red dots) can effectively stop all trades between cities.

just start doing 1* trades at that level when you can tank kokorus/peritons or earth ghosts, cuz imo if you'd do a trade at this level you would get raped by them.

If you want to gain gold by trading, you can make a warrior/bard. Bard noise at 20 will hold off any mobs in DW<->Jan route. Being a warrior should be enough to not die from a champ's hit

hmm a lvl 25+ pure bard can do the same thing unless u come across a giant or something, but if your careful u hardly ever die from mobs.

oh yeah wen u see a player thief following u never EVER even accidentally set off ANY kind on aoe attack

thats not true actually. if u are a trader are u are doing a 1 star, even if you do an aoe attack, it wont hit the player thief.

however if you go straight to the player thief and cast a skill on him then i dont know what it does.

I once had a lv20 wiz/bard. Trading in euro wasn't hard at all. Noise protected me til punishers and when i crossed the bridge to samarkand i just hopped on my horse and walked to samarkand. X-Large pots were very helpful.

xlarge pots cost more than you make on 1* trade... :S or you make like 2k for 30 minutes of work

get to lvl 30+ and trade away till lvl 40

hmm maybe they changed it, afaik light imbue and booming chord hit player thiefs close to u
